Yeah man, that big 12 nebraska game was cold. I went to the Chadron State playoff game in Maryville Mo earlier that day, then the big 12 championship that night, and I'm still thawing out. I was right next to the OU band also

both teams bands played at half time. iwonder if they were having a competition or something and they ddnt announce it. i would have to give the edge to the pride of nebraska! during the game i think ku band played whenever mangino fibished eating a burrito.....which is why the played so often.

wr has been the most consistant part of the offense. if gilmore is not here next year its because he got a better offer some place else. pelini brought ekler with him to lsu from ou. no husker coach is on the hot seat. nebraska football fans are known for being football smart but threads like this really make me wonder.

I'm really looking forward to seeing a highly competitive qb race next year between witt, lee, spano, and green if he comes. Lee and Witt will have had a few years under their belt learning the system, and I am guessing will be the front runners, but who knows. As long as they make smart fast decisions, that 's all I care about.

We could decide when to play, either be in the same, or different conferences, start as a 1-3 star team on all american or heisman level? What is your favorite husker pregame tradition? I go to the games in Lincoln and go to old chicago and knock a few beers off my world beer tour card. For away games I make my famous spicy dip, watch gameday, and watch the games before our game.

I was at the big 12 championship game a few years ago and sat among the sooner faithful, and was at the OU CU game last year and was with the sooner section that time also. I am so tired of everyone questioning what are coaches are doing! Last time I checked, they know just a TAD more than everyone who is blogging. Everyone was all upset at Solich, so we canned him.....then everyone was all upset at Callahan, so we canned him........and know people are started to pick away at this staff as well......GIVE IT A REST AND LET THEM DO THERE JOBS!!!! It is the people that complain all the time and don't know what they are talking about that has ruined many of GREAT high school and college coaches, and I just think its a shame. chill out man, I'm not ripping on the staff. I like our coaches, it was just some questions I had.

I have 2 questions I'd be interested in hearing what you all have to reply to. 1. I am glad Bo is a firey guy who shows a lot of emotion, but whenever they show him jawing to the ref on the sideline whenever the camera shows him, who is paying attention to all the details of the game? Shouldn't he be worrying about some of the football game instead of "discussing" with the ref during the game? 2. How is it every other team has figured out a way to look to the sideline to make changes to their offenses which keeps the defense from making as many adjustments. When we call a play it goes from Watson in up in the box down to gilmore on the side line, who then gives it to Witt, who then signals it to ganz, who then tells the team. Reminds me of that game you play when your little kids and you stand in a line and whisper a phrase to teh next person in line and when it gets to the end of the line it is something completely different.

Unfortunately knee-jerk ended for me about six minutes into the first quarter. After that it's all rationalism as pure as the first winter snow. Any particular point of disagreement? Want to take a shot defending Castille or Lucky? I'm listening. We're all listening. Like Watson's play calling this evening? Think the game was managed well? No. Not really. lucky was injure this week and practice and at the game. he was only in for a few carries. he has been running hard, makes catches, blocks well, is a good team leader and has done all of this while goin through a lot in his life. let me guess, next season the first time helu rushes for forty yards in a game you will be calling for okafor to start.

i think lucky is better than helu and gives us more options on offense this year. castile is just not going to pan out. cody glenn was a rare exeption. you cannot take running backs and change them to linebackers and have them play successfuly every time especially in fbs football. he probably wouldnt crack 2 deep next year with the talent we have at redshirt and coming in.

absolutely not. Joe is an average at best college qb who takes too long to make decisions many times. Zac Taylor was a way better qb than Joe is and he couldn't cut it in the NFL either. Both are great leaders and have high character but not nfl material.

I'm kind of partial to the stripes on the pants. I would like it if one game we came out with either the shoulder stripes we wore in the early 70's or maybe the N sleaves from the 80's. I bet people would buy those like crazy.

I've always had a hard time of understanding when head coaches are fired fairly early on in the season. I know they had high expectations of Clemson, but I don't see how getting rid of the head coach is going to make things better. What are your thoughts?

I don't think it was the spread we were running. There are a lot of different playbooks that have a shot gun formation in them. The eagles run a west coast offense and are in the shot gun a lot.
