180 yards first quarter for nebraska...

so, i went to see what the byu broadcasters were saying about nebraska(not that hack scum bag criddle) and lo and behold they only start broadcasting 2 hours before kick, filthy casuals.

i haven't watched game day in 4 or 5 years, has it gotten that bad?

I think this was the cause of a lot of the replies on the BYU thread. It was pretty clear that he didn't think he'd suspend anyone else. joke. BYU talks integrity only? Yes. As a coach...I like it a lot more when teams I play are missing important players. I always have. Never cared about excuses afterwards if we won. Where did you see this, LSLHusker? Earlier in the thread. "Mendenhall won't announce suspensions until after the Nebraska game." Think that meant that he will announce who got sat for the game after the game, at least that is how I took it. I took it to mean that he's a chickensh#t and may not hand down punishment if it causes them any disadvantage in the game. Apparently rules and behavior take a back seat to competitive advantage at BYU. Wouldn't want the players actually being held accountable for their actions if it might have adverse consequences for the team. At least that's what I'm getting from his noncommittal horsesh#t. Sorry but a brawl like that..... the punishment should not be conditioned on anything. Bronco's a lot of things, but chickensh#t isn't one of them. Players are being suspended; we already know some of them. He'll identify which players were suspended after the game. your right chickensh#t is better then what he is

Do you think that Riley having played BYU when he coached at Oregon St. gives us a bit of an edge? I'm more concerned that we have healthy players ready for our first game. Every time I open the paper or turn on the news we hear of another player who is out for weeks because of injuries they suffered during practice. Blah! I mean what I always thought of was a defense that swarmed to you, that played with what seemed like reckless abandon who had players who litterally wanted to see your helmet rolling down the field 5 yards away with the qbs head still in it. I agree with all of the above. If sexual preference shouldn't matter, then we shouldn't make such a big deal out of it. The only problem is, we're not there yet. Close. But not yet.   as long as we keep bringing it up, it will be a big deal, and people don't understand that.
