Danny Noonan graduated from, and played football at Northeast High School, UNL, and then was selected as the 12th overall pick in the 1987 NFL draft to the Dallas Cowboys (best team to go to by the way) where he stayed until 1992. Erwin Swiney also graduated from and played football at Northeast High School, UNL, but he went to the Packers out of college right? Anyway, he might not have been that great at UNL or in the NFL, but man could that guy fly. He still holds the forty record at northeast for a senior.

Yeah, Carolla isn't funny at all. I watched that show one night and it seemed like every time he made a "joke" nobody in the audience was laughing at all. Then shortly after he would be like "Well we've got to go to commercial." I don't know, I thought it was dumb. Didn't he used to be on MTV with Dr. Drew at like midnight when they had that sex show about five or six years ago?

I have two student season football tickets which I'm selling game by game. So if there's anyone who is interested in one or both of them pm me with ?'s. The younger guys are looking up to him. Just this last Sunday Cory Ross, Greg Austin, Marlon Lucky, and Leon Jackson came in to Sun Valley Lanes for a few games of bowling. I think they were with Randy Jordan and his family if I'm not mistaken. The only reason I know this is because I work there on Sundays. Looked to me like Pork Chop had the rest of them beat which is no suprise b/c he's a pretty frequent bowler of "The Valley".

You should try the embassy suites, it's downtown on P street which is closer than the cornhusker. Otherwise try the downtown Holiday inn, it's a little further away but it's still downtown.

I'm sure the coaches are more concerned with what's going to be best for the team than what the fans think is "best" for the team. I don't necessarily think that getting our qbs killed will be good for our team. But they do need to get a real feel/reminder for the speed of the game so that when they do face an opponent who IS trying to kill them they will know how to handle it.

Another really good drill to run is the "10 yard fight" . It's just that, a ten yard fight. The basic idea is that you've got one offensive player and one defensive player (not necessarily their position), the offensive player starts of the ten yard line and the defensive player on the goaline. On the offensive player's (carries the ball like a running back) movement the drill starts. If the defensman wins when he tackles the offensive player or forces him out-of-bounds. Obviously implemented on a narrowed field of play. We did it with double elimination and you pick your own partner each time. In the end you're left with usually the most solid all-around player on the team as the winner.
