Really? So when they're playing a cover 2 zone ( as they were), the safety isn't responsible for giving over-the-top coverage? If I'm not mistaken, Moss hit them over the top. But even if this isn't the case he still let Jeremy shockey run all over god's green earth in the last minute and a half of the Giants game. Anyway, Mike Brown, IMO, is a better safety than roy williams. I also think he's a better leader for the secondary and defense as a whole, eventhough I'm sure Brian Urlacher is the true leader of their defense. You are correct about Dallas needing better corners though. Maybe I'll put that on my wish list for christmas....

As a dallas cowboys fan I'm going to disagree with you on that one. Roy Williams is one of the worst pass defending safeties in the NFL. He let santana moss catch two long touchdown passes in the last three minutes of the game to come back and win. Then he tried to give the NYG game away too. I mean sure he hits hard and he broke Terrell Owens' leg, but other than that what good has he been?

nah, after like a year of living in Nebraska they gain residency. I'm sure that most of the football players have to live here too, b/c of all the summer conditioning they do. I mean they still go home for awhile, but they continue to actually live in Lincoln which gives them residency and the lower tuition rate.

LJ isn't redshirting, he's been playing on special teams. There was an article that I read somewhere also, I think maybe the LJS, that he talked about regreting giving up his redshirt for as little playing time as he's receiving. He said his high shcool coach told him to wait to play, but he didn't listen and wished that he would have.

I believe Beck has been #2 for some time. A guy I work with is a friend of Beck's, and before the ISU game, supposedly, Cally pulled Beck into his office and told him that if Taylor was struggling that he(Beck) would go into the game in the second half. As we all know, Taylor did phenomanaly well, compared to his previous performances, in the ISU game. Therefore, no Beck. Of course this is just what Beck told my co-worker, so for all I know maybe Beck was just telling him that because he liked the thought of playing or something.

Nope, true story. Except the pedestrian was like a five year old girl. They printed an article about it in the Journal Star. My mom cut that article out and showed it to my brothers and I when we were old enough to drive, so we wouldn't drive drunk. Worked, I think of it everytime I think of someone driving drunk.
