I don't know...I didn't get to see it on TV. It was replayed on the radio this morning, and to tell you the truth, I liked it. It would probably fire the team up right up until the kick-off. Just like the last five weeks have done. But, I still must be one of the "greatest fans". Because I will be cheering them on tomorrow, even if I think they will lose, they will still have my full support. Through this game, the rest of this season, the coaching change...I will support them. I will be a looooooooooooong four weeks, but I will be there for my team.

No he didn't. He wore a black shirt and was specifically asked about it by a reporter. The reporter told him fans were upset he doesn't wear red or Husker Gear when he does press conferences. Callahan gave him a look of shock....like he had no idea it might upset Nebraska Fans. As I recall, when asked why he wasn't wearing any, he said he "can't comment" on it. Weird statement, I thought.

He had a Nebraska black pullover or something at last week's practice, when TO showed up to watch on his first day of the job. But other than the games, and that one practice...he has hasn't. I think he gets something like $400,000 for apparel. But is that for buying, or just for having his name on something, I don't know. Haven't researched it. Maybe he could get something for the "I'm with stupid" shirts. Except, have the arrow pointing up!

However, I have to agree with the "source" getting a little flighty. That seems to be a logical thought...Even tho the middle "statement" is rather insipid. You saw my psychological profile? What if everyone wore black this Saturday to Memorial Stadium? We could show our support to the Blackshirts and maybe, just maybe it might spark something inside them. I have been thinking that maybe the mood of the crowd does indeed affect the players. If someone was out there booing you, would you want to play? Would you care as much? Of course, it would break the record of "the sea of red". But maybe that "tradition" needs to be broken too. Just a thought...

Too inconsistent? Is that why you ran all over, through, and under us? Might as well play the young guys. You never know who might spark your team until they are in the game. When it's 41-6, and 4th down, and you punt...what is the point in keeping the first stringers in there at that point?

First time I turned a Nebraska game off, took my jersey off, and went downstairs and did laundry. Sad. I consider myself a HUGE NU fan. But when this crap happens...Understand, I have two 55 gallon tubs full of Nebraska shirts. During the season, I wear a different one every day at work. This just sucks. I don't know what to say. Things may change tomorrow. But for right now, I don't even want to watch the OSU game next week.

That was a pretty mean article in the Omaha Paper about Pinkel. Go Tigers!!!!! MIZ!!! ZOU!!! I agree, it was a little mean. But I was at the 2004 game in Lincoln. The year Pinkel decided he wanted Brad Smith to stay in the pocket more. If Brad had been allowed to run, Mizzou would have had their victory in Lincoln that year. So I can see the article's point. Sometimes, it seems Pinkel messes things up for you guys. Just my opinion.
