Not that it matters much now, but exacly who should Nebraska be ranked ahead of based on pre-season polling (it should not matter, but does) and results year to date? I think a case could be made that Cincinatti, Clemson and Purdue for sure (I'm mixing polls) After that, I think it's all debatable -- somewhere else someone wrote that the Ball State game is lingering, that's probably true -- and the defensive stats nationally are not helping either -- the original post was spot on -- just gots to earn the respect by winning.
