No doubt the skers will be better this year. I am lookin forward to the game. When was the last time Okie State won in Memorial Stadium before 2007? Hmmm... 1960 I am not saying the Jayhawks will won...but now is the best opportunity we have to break that humiliating streak.

I see a lot of predictions that KU in Lincoln is a sure win this year for NU....The huskers love the kool-aid huh? But hey so do I. It is good that you have confidence in your team, but how do you think NU can possibly beat Mizzou's spread or the KU spread, or even TTech? I believe Pelini will use some Nickel blitzes against some of the Big 12 teams, throw in a Dime formation here and there, and the Big Red might just keep some of these games close...maybe.

I dont know how this thread turned into this but anywayz... I didnt come on this board to gloat, I was just giving my support to the NU football program the same way you guys have cheered for us. If it is NU vs. anybody besides KU I will root for them. I say NU goes 9-3, KU goes 10-2 both get bowl games. Pelini should prove himself this year, never forget how excited I was watching LSU's D stomp Ohio State. Good Luck this football season, both of our teams will need it. Just beat Mizzery and KSUcks!

We won't lose to USF, and I am picking NU to win against Va TEch so have some faith and dont call our last season a fluke.

Put Mack Brown a little lower I think... they always struggle in games they shouldn't... ex. UCF, NU, got beat by KSucks by a lot...

Now that the Jayhawks have one the NC in BBall, I can't wait for football season. I'm sorry I just can't get into baseball season, too much steroid usage (Allegedly), not as exciting as football or basketball, but I am hearing a lot of optimism about the NU program. It is good to know that the Husker tradition is still live and well, but will the team be alive and well this season? I truly am skeptical as to whether my jayhawks can repeat the success of last year, but I was just wondering, is it the tradition that is giving you guys optimism, Bo's attitude, or just blind faith? I assume that NU will have just as many games televised as they did last year. The Big 12 North should get a lot of exposure since we are all unproven, many want to see if we can have the same success as we did last year, and of course want to see what Bo can do.

This only further proves my suspicions that NU will be a more determined team this year. These kids must already be buying into Pelini, can't say that I blame them. It is going to be a good year in the Big 12 North.

nah i dont really care if someone jokes about Mangino, we have done our fair share of making fun of Pelini's huge nose and dumbo ears. If I had photoshop, I would show you a thing or two. Seriously, its all in good fun.

White unis? Why dont you just have a red helmet, white jersey, black pants and yellow corn shaped shoes, then you would like a real cornhusker....seriously just stick with tradition though. Some people think our Red jerseys look stupid, but I think they are all right, not as good as the blue jerseys, but all right.

How can you say NU is a strength? They went 5-7. They might be a strength traditionally, but not now. Until Pelini can get NU up and running again, the South will be a little better than the North. BTW I really hope NU does get better, it will be good for the North conference, and Big 12.

i dont know if Bo Penili was the right choice but I think Bo Pelini will get it done at NU
