I personally will be watching ZACH POTTER to see if he grew any balls this year.

My feeling is that we will not improve to the level that Bo wants until we purge thru graduation the remaining Callahan recruits. A losing mentality persists in their psyche.

Zach Potter will transfer back to Creighton Prep where he will star again.

Man you REALLY dont like him do you? Holy crap i havent seen this much hatred of a player since Lord was playing. You know why? Because in all the games I saw him play on TV all he did was lope around and not make any plays. As a Nebraska guy he was ill prepared this year and should have been working harder in the weight room to improve . He got pushed off the ball repeatly and he disgraced his parents by being a push over. I hope Bo whips him into shape or sits him on the bench. And don't get me started on Lord!

Alberts was a hot head and a blowhard who would not bring anything to the table. I always thought he came across as stupid on his TV show.

I heard that he's going to transfer back to creighton prep where its safe and he would be the golden boy once again on campus. He'll be living in his parent's basement till he's forty and working as a janitor at the school.

The quality of running back has gone down for the last 8 years around here. I would only consider him an average back and that ain't saying much.

i don't think he was that bad as an Offensive Coordinator. He gave Iowa State a shot in the arm when he was there for a year. He just got all hot and bothered with the way Jammal Lord ran, just like Solich did. But, you're right, he shouldn't be OC. We need to keep an offense that's been putting up crazy points. Better O-Line coaching, more running plays other than stretch plays, more intense practices and workout sessions, walk-ons bustin through walls to get playing time, etc., all of these things are going to contribute to getting back to the promised land. And that's just improving the offense. Put your trust in Bo to cure the defense of it's ills. All good things. If Ron Brown is coming back I sure hope they curb all that "God" talk, it gets on my nerves! Just think if he was a muslim would you want to hear it?

I saw Callahan on that show on the sci fi network "the Tin Man" He was one of the munchkins.

As a hypnotist and NLP student I study facial and body expressions to be able to "read" people. After seeing Turner Gill on TV being interviewed I came away with the conclusion that he appeared defensive and disappointed . His eyes never blinked and he never showed any facial movement which means he knew he wasn't picked as the next head coach. Lets face it he didn't have the expierence regardless of his head coaching at a small school. His players love him because he's shown them they can be winners. But if he came here the young players and recruits don't know his history as they were all too young to see him in his glory days as a player. So you have to have a head coach who is "Now" someone who is well known thru out the country. And who will have recruiting ties to the SEC areas. Welcome Pelini

Meanwhile Oklahoma sits and stews over lack of respect. Oklahoma also has a better quarterback than Kansas. He won't choke like Reesing did under the lights and cameras. So we'll have a WV and Ohio St in the national championship.

I'm just not so sure either one would be a good coach for us. Both lack experience. I know most of you look up to T.O. but I have to question his selections. I believe he has a degree in psychology and he picked Solich didn't he? He couldn't figure out that Frankie was just a go-fer in his system. Maybe T.O. is caving into popular demand in choosing a new coach. Or is it all about getting a coach for less money?

Man! I hope you dont have any guns in the house. To say that NU is not desirable to a coach is definitely a grandiose statement. If you are crrently a head coach at a top tier college now then your opinion would be a valid one. But since your on this board I'm guessing your probably not. The sparkling facilities, deep pockets Buffet as a booster, great fan base and national prominence, I think would be more than enough incentive to coach at dear old NU. Sure expectations are high but anyone worth his coaching salt would welcome a chance. You would also have a boss that would be sympathetic to your circumstances. These are just a few reasons why I believe your statement and arguments to be a little dis-concerning. But as the kids say now WHATEVER!!! Boise St has no tradition yet. The NU job would be a step up in prestige at a national program. You don't get to see many WAC games as they are considered a lower conference than the Big 12. Everyone I've talked to can't stand that idiotic blue carpet they play on. How ghetto!
