If Da'Quan can live up to be even close to as good as our last #93(Gaines Adams, think Suh but more of a beast), I'll be ecstatic. I hate when people discuss football like they do baseball stats. The reason baseball nuts discuss stats is to cover up the fact that it's a boring sport. Have to generate some sort of interest! I prefer to discuss football in observations as to what I will see and not how many yards etc a team makes.

If anyone could do it, it'd be us. I know most of you were losing sleep thinking that we MIGHT play Georgia Tech! They would take us to the woodshed! But seriously folks the only way we are going to win the game is ball control by keeping their Offense off the field. 42-24 CLEMSON!

I guess I'm just not as optimistic as the other husker fans. Our D-line a strength? Gimme a break! I guess you could call it the only strength on the entire defense. Once Clemson breaks thru the line our linebackers will stumble and bumble and its off to the races for Clemson. They have too much speed on both sides of the ball for us. And Clemson's defense is too fast for us. Think in terms of an Okie St. They will bust thru our line and cause havoc. Look for numerous interceptions by Ganz. His dink passes will be picked off at the line. People wake up! "OUR" signature win was against KU. Big deal! We beat all the rest of the LOSERS in the Big 12. Reality check!

With most coaching changes there are a few players that leave the system . Have there been any that have quit the program since Bo got here because of him?

Travis Justice says that iOWA sTATE was the WORST looking team in the big 12. He's seen all the teams play. We are jumping up and down because we beat them. Times are bad when you start thinking of teams like ISU and Baylor as toss up games. We'll probably lose the OKLA game, Kansas, and even the Colorado game. The Baylor game is a TOSS UP.

Times really have changed when you fear a loss to Iowa State. How sad.

I look for Texas to make them cry again this week.

normally I would agree... but I was glad to see them lose in light of the comments made by daniel. normally I would always cheer for the B12N. i even cheered for CU last year against OU and KSU against texas I was looking at Chase and he appears to be a little pudgy guy who stands 5 yards behind the yard of scrimage No wonder people can't get to him. But OKIE St with their D did. He would make a poor NFL Qb. And I predict he will balloon up to 300 pounds within in 10 years. A fat beer drinking slob.

I'd like to see Bo cry on camera. And maybe that will inspire the team for the hurt that they are inflicting on him. Lets face it, they could be motivated like its a DO or DIE situation and get pumped up to win. Use that internal will power to will themselves to win at all costs. But in this day and age its hard to motivate the Xbox 360 athletes because its just not that important . Lifeless zombies forever stumbling bumbling just so they can get off the field to play their video games back at the million dollar training facility. Take some of their luxury living arangements away and crack the whip. But lets NOT hurt their feelings or their self esteem will be damaged all their lives!

The media has more to do with the state of our nation than people think. The hollywood and democrat social elite sit up on their thrones looking down on the rest of us. They treat us like their little children wanting to take care of us. They view illegal immigrants the same way. Let them all in, they need a place to live, we'll give them free schooling,FREE health care and even help them buy homes illegally. All the while looking down from the clouds like GODS, not knowing how they are screwing up the country for the rest of us.

Sure...that trade would be perfectly fine with me! We are tanking just like last year. Its in their psyche already. Down for the count and at this point I don't expect another win this year.

10 year old kids in other nations are considered grown up and work like adults. Our country is the only one that coddles our youth and tries to extend their childhood way past puberty. These players were "Men" before they graduated high school. Like others have said they are out in the real world now. Take it like a man or cry like a baby.

really? what about in the AP's eye? tell me ONE game under cally that the AP predicted that kind of spread?? ONE GAME... this really is a new low... but ain't happening. TT isn't getting that many points... no way! GO BO!! This is what you call a sucker bet. 21 point dogs , so why not more? The people in vegas most know something. We play better away from home But I still say 77-14 And I still won't watch them on TV.

I agree and I been sayin this since before the season began, however I also said we could beat VT and that didnt happen so who knows. But we do have Kansas at home this year and Kansas was our most embarrassing loss last year IMO and I think, (I hope) that our boys would want to redeem themselves and have an axe to grind all night long on Kansas. Plus Kansas was nothin but a fluke last year anyhow, yes they were good and yes they beat the crap out us but they were WAY to overrated last year and its been proven this year after their loss to South Florida and barely beatin Iowa St. Its like having a heart to heart talk with your kids as they go from high school to adult hood. I told them if I knew they were screwing up in life I would sit them down and talk to them about it. No babysitting talk just plain honest no holds barred down in the dirt you are F-ING up. I'm a realist and I step back and see the situation in my opinion what it is. You can all be RAH RAH types but is that the truth? I don't think any of the team actually reads this so I'm not concerned if I hurt their feelings or heaven forbid their self esteem. Most of this board reminds me of those soccer moms who give out trophies to their last place team. The players know they suck but the mom's feel sorry for them and want to boost them so they arn't scarred their whole life. When my son was on one of those teams that finished last I questioned the mother doing this insane crap. Her eyes blinked and she couldn't believe the nerve I had. She then got in her range rover and no doubt dropped her kids off at the sitter and went tanning. After this TT blow out you'll see this team tank and go thru the motions. Like a boxer whose lost one too many times and just wants to collect a paycheck.

He might win the Heisman but really its not that great of an award. All politics. And remember he won't make a good pro QB because he's TOO SHORT. And I don't think he's ever taken a snap under center. Stands 5 yards behind the line. And don't forget to always.....and I mean always bet against the Heisman winner in a bowl game! Money in the bank!

I have to agree. It will take some time. Bo needs 5, count em, 5 years to rebuild this program. Pinkel and Mangino took more than that. Give Pelini 5 years and he'll have the ship pointed back in the right direction, heck, it may be back in 3, considering the talent MU losses after this year, and the talent KU losses after next year. The next two recruiting classes will be critical for success at NU. I know I'm stating the obvious here, but patience is badly needed. You think it's bad here?? Just take a good long look at the mess KSU is in and feel lucky you're not in their shoes. The wagon is broken and heading for a steep cliff. I predicted a 52-28 mizzou score. I started to watch the game but quickly recorded it on tape in another room. I then watched the other games. My thoughts are that this team hasn't improved from last year. We STILL have the same losing mentality. Its like an old boxer who gets beat fight after fight. He goes thru the motions. This team will not improve until all of Callahan's recruits are out of the system. They are programed to fail. It will take at least 4 years to get to a 8 win season. But most of those people don't have huge heads that take up the whole widescreen when I'm watching in HD. That guy has a huge melon and it drives me nuts how much of the camera it takes up. and his ego is even bigger I have mizzou winning 52-28
