Just a question for you Dave H. Who are the "greatest" fans in college football? Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, Missouri, Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, etc? Who is it? The overwhelming consensus nationwide is that NEBRASKA fans are. That is based on much more than just our history this year. I don't know of any state or fan base that is as knowledgable as ours. I don't know of any other team that stands and claps for the opponent, Win or lose. There is NO place like Nebraska... when it comes to the GREATEST fans in the country! Yeah that's what I'd like to know from the people who want to trash ALL the fans for the acts of a few. If Nebraska fans aren't the "greatest" fans in college football then who are and why? The last time I went to a game in Memorial (2005) there was a couple Iowa State fans cheering and mouthing off over a poor call. A nebraska fan challenged them and started poor mouthing them. Instantly about a dozen fans told him to cool off and reminded him "that we're better than that." Name me one other crowd, College OR pro that you're going to see that sort of pride in sportsmanship. I saw similar stuff at the orange bowl when we played Tennessee.

Florida State 93, they had to whine to get into the NC. "Just give us a chaaance!"

I'm going to evaluate his performance over the next couple of months before jumping to any hasty conclusions.

Maybe we could get Tera Patrick to recruit for us.

Speaking of sellout records when was the last time Nebraska fans failed to buy their full compliment of tickets to an AWAY game? If there's a streak there I bet that's in jeopardy of being broken.

Good News: There's only 2 more games left for this abomination of a coaching crew. Bad News: There's a bye week in there so that 2 weeks is gonna last for 3 weeks.

Hate to say it but these players quit long ago. They shown it clearly that they don't desire or desreve our support. The D has been FORCED to turn their blackshirts, now they all (a few exceptions) should remove the N from their helmets. Pathetic.

What do we gain by waiting? I've asked this a half dozen times and no one has an answer. What do we gain by waiting. The writing's on the wall. Pull the trigger already, at least on Coz, he's worthless. In my view more damage is now being done by keeping them in place than by waiting.

Sadly, that is very good advice. I really hope that we as fans will just let the season play out and not make this personal to the Callahan or Cosgrove Families. Even though they suck as coaches, they are fathers and husbands and I would hate for someone to treat my family like s*** even though I suck at what I did for a living. I got $20 that says they suck as husbands and fathers too.

Once we get things strtaightened out I say no mercy on these big 12 small fry, look were it got us.

Callahan has a block of wood where his brain should be. No way does he let Watson call the plays. He hasn't made any changes to his defense. He doesn't adapt his offense to problems they see during the game. He doesn't develope the players he recruits. He doesn't know how to coach college kids. He's OOOOOUUUUUUUUTTTTTTT!

Once again TO will not fire anyone until after the season is over with. Until then, we all have to watch in disgust as this team gets their asses handed to them on a weekly basis! What possible good can come from Cosgrove filling the position for the rest of the season? If TO can't see that maybe he isn't the man for the job. 5 straight losses! Last ranked D in the nation!

During the pre-kick-off coverage of the game yesterday I heard the announcers discussing Cos and they quoted him saying "You know we didn't just wake up stupid yesterday." No Cos, I'm sure you boys started waking up stupid many years ago.

I believe you were looking for mediocrity. Oh and Pederson left so I think we can stop using that lovely term now . Do you miss your boyfriend?
