  1. No because ESPN360 is a joke that you have to have a certain internet provider in order to get it.
  2. Duke getting a pounding courtesy of the Clemson Tigers! I always love seeing Duke losing, but even more for our Clemson posters.
  3. ..i'm jealous instead of watchin it on my 56" flat screen, i'm stuck in front of my 19" computer...ugh Sometimes direcTV is worth it...not most of the time though.
  4. nah I'm here in front of my TV cheerin on the skers!
  5. Am I a bigger badass since I'm from Wisconsin? Cause I've lived in both Nebraska and Wisconsin, and Nebraska public schools close the night before if there is some big storm coming...In Wisconsin I've gone to school when it snowed 10 inches overnight...
  6. Well they don't have Roby...so they have jack sh#t.
  7. Most kids in Louisiana grow up dreaming of being a Tiger, similar to here...so I can't fault him if he chooses LSU.
  8. So I lived in Baton Rouge for about 5 months, so my Louisiana tips for you are such: 1) If you meet a real Cajun, like those from Houma, good luck with English. 2) Make a trip to New Orleans and get some beignets at Cafe du Monde, its only around a 2 hour drive from Lafayette. 3)Get updated on your vaccinations before you step foot in Lafayette, never know what kind of diseases might be roaming around 4) But really Louisianans are very hospitable and enjoy your time there, hit up some tailgates, Cajuns have the best tailgate food I have ever come across.
  9. The NU-KU tickets thread is what you are looking for, and it had a decent following. And I'm really getting sick of all these " should have won games" These Huskers will go down in history as the team that played everyone close, yet still lost the damn game team. At least we have two horrible teams next, Texas Tech and Colorado. if we lose even one of those two games I'm done with this team. WOW, being "done with a team" with the ID of Husker Forever. Even if they lose one of those next two games, I won't be "done with this team". I am sick and tired of fair weather fans. just because they have lost a few close games, I will NEVER right this team off. This team is the hardest playing NU basketball team I have seen in well over a decade, if not longer. GO BIG RED! Especially with how down the big 12 is right now.. we've shown we can play with the best teams in the conference.. we could make a big 12 tourney run honestly.. they are playing their hearts out and i love to see it from such an undersized team. I know someone above said it feels like next year will be the year for a few years and i agree, but next year we actually will have a big man to go with talented play around them.. could be fun. We NEED a shooter to step up if we want to win these close games. When Velander and Anderson go missing for 2 straight games, you are left out of options, although I think Sek could do it. If Velander wants to be successful for the last half of the season he needs to get away from the one trick pony stuff. Everyone knows he is only going to shoot 3s so they need to throw a wrench on those double screens and have him go to the post, or take a mid range jumper.
  10. I suggest looking at the KU vs NU tickets thread before you speak.
  11. McCray gets in Doc's doghouse frequently since he makes stupid decisions in practice...my roommate filled me in since he was a student trainer earlier in the year. That is probably why Salomon was playing so much. Edwards I have no idea. Chapman has worse than Balham knees, so he wasn't going to play much... I wish Doc would've gone Bobby Knight style and thrown a chair after the questionable calls.
  12. Don't you mean THREE stud recruits the past THREE years. 10- McCay 09- Bryce Brown 08- Arthur Brown Yes I do, I stand corrected.
  13. Like Ryan Anderson said in the DN he is tired of the atta boys, and good efforts. We need to hold them to the same standard football is. I'm proud of their effort, but pissed we lost. Velander needs to shoot the ball normally, and not try to draw calls. He was doing that all night, he needs his proper follow through...maybe throw a pump fake in there? And whats with people at the Bob leaving with 4 minutes to go in a close game? That angers me more than anything...this team is going all out and you leave early because you want to beat the traffic. I was disappointed in the KU fans, not as much blue as past years. Can they only support a top team?
  14. I think its crap they had to change their mascot from Indians to Red Wolves
  15. All the measurables you want in a WR. I'm surprised that the state of Kansas has produced two stud recruits the past two years.
  16. It would be quite the coup to get him out of SEC country, especially Baton Rouge...ever since I left LSU I've noticed that kids that go to high school in Baton Rouge rarely leave. they did take Sheppard, so i would assume they would pass on him Every school wants to take one QB a year. Can't imagine why LSU is different. Bingo, and Sheppard could end up like the Perriloux situation...and they don't want that again.
  17. I agree about Football being all fair game, and not just Husker football...I do think basketball should be in its own forum, as well as Recruiting.

  19. This game today had almost nothing to do with an inside presence or a lack of size. It has to do with the fact that for some reason every half our entire team has to play five minutes where they can't score. What this team needs is ONE player that is willing and able to step up and make baskets when the rest of team decides they can't score anymore for a while. ding ding ding ding...WE HAVE A WINNER!!! ..this team is taking years off my life...if they would just make a bucket every 2-3 minutes...like NORMAL teams can usually do on a consistent basis, they would have stopped the runs of opposing teams and won 2 games they now have lost...GAH! Every team is going to have shooting drought now and again, but I agree this team tends to have them more often. Thats where an inside presence really helps. It not only gives you some good chances with inside shots, but also a little thing called second chance opportunities via offensive rebounding. This is the ding ding ding response!

What this team needs is ONE player that is willing and able to step up and make baskets when the rest of team decides they can't score anymore for a while. Thats true, but as I have said earlier, its easier to get a basket inside with a bigger person than shooting outside when you have gone on a cold streak. But they can manage without a big guy, however they NEED to cut inside, pick n rolls, etc. They need to get a good look at the basket within 10 ft of the hoop when they are on a drought...which isn't being done. One of those plays with Miller dishing to Dagunduro to Anderson who had set the screen for the easy layup. Thats a play that will work when you are in a bind. I'm looking forward to the KU game, and based on stats this year we need to hold them to under 64 points, otherwise we lose. Handle Collins, and we can write up a W.
  21. Horrible time to go on the classic Husker FG drought
