I think we do. There are a few that have to be smucks, but for the most part I think most Nebraska fans treat opponents with respect. Speaking for myself it's pride. I don't want opposing teams to walk away thinking what a terrible experience they had because of a Husker fan. Now some opposing fans you just can't please. It's something that is taught to our children, that win or lose to be gracious to the opposing teams, at all times, even when they talk smack.

1/2 lb sausage 1 md sweet red pepper,chopped 1 md green pepper,chopped 1 md onion, chopped 2 tsp canola oil 5 tomatoes, seeded and chopped 6 eggs 1/2 c milk 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 c of mexican cheese 6 flour tortillas Brown Sausage, remove and drain. Saute peppers and onions in oil until tender. Add Tomatoes, saute 1-2 mins longer. In a large bowl whisk eggs, milk and salt. Reduce heat to medium add egg mix and sausage. Cook until eggs are done. Spoon mixture into center of tortilla, top with cheese and roll up. I will sometimes quadruple this recipe and with leftovers, roll up in saran wrap and put in freezer. Hubby and son will nuke them in the morning for 30 to 60 seconds, depending and how much filling and eat. They will last about a week in the freezer.

I don't think Pinkel was running up the score, however it was nice to see the 2nd string offense come in. I thought maybe our defense would be able to stop them. I think Pelini was just trying to not make as big of a slaughter as it could have been. When your loosing don't you want to score in the last minutes too, try to find that glimmer of hope for the next week.

I found even more respect for Bo today, when he said to blame him and that staff, not the guys for the loss. That's a coach. A coach that you will run through walls for. It won't be this year, this years team had to many years of Callahan's "good product on the field", "going to the NFL." But it will happen, and won't that be a year to remember!

We gave Callahan 4 years to screw this up, we have to give the new staff time to fix it!

IF it happened, it should be taken up against the coaches, not announced in the press. IF it happened BO will handle it. As far as the dirty play, the only thing I saw was the late hit, by BOTH Teams, not just one. I hope a Nebraska player didn't stoop to that level, no matter how big of an ego Daniels has, we should never stoop to that level. It's been done to our guys I'm sure at one point by opponents, but that doesn't excuse us doing it to them. And things like that brought up in the press and not to the coaches is bush league too

Hey, when MU dominates college football for YEARS like NU has done (which will take until I'm an old man), then Mizzou fans may have a reason to boast and rant. Nebraska has hit a bump in the road, but you guys will definately be back, and sooner than later. You will not have to endure the pain that Mizzou fans have endured for years...in my 4 years as an undergrad (88-92) MU won a total of 12 games. We are proud of our team right now, but you guys have a football tradition that will take us decades to emulate and earn. Good luck in the rest of your season. I know that even if it is as bad as you fear, your fans and the university will not put up with a bad football team and will make the changes needed to get you back to the top. I just hope we are there to challenge you year after year. Thank you, that's very sportsmanlike of you. We will be back, it might take a little bit longer than some of us would like.
