Maybe this should be posted with the worst fans in college football, see where this ranks. This is a kick to the crotch of real husker fans! What would you do if you were his parent/relative/friend and this was reported? Probably pi$$ you off wouldnt it? Dont cut him any slack he should be sued, and made to pay for his poor judgement, it may be the only way to make him have any respect for others. If not I have a better idea, take him to Norman and have him put on the pads and helmet and settle it during practice. Worst of all I am sure he is a WE WON when the team wins, and YOU LOST when the team isnt the winner, type of fan. As a former player I HATED those fans with a passion...................

this is scary, out of all of this you pick that VT wont hang 63 on the huskers at home................ I appreciate your prediction, but their is no way that Virginia Tech hangs 63 points on Nebraska. Their is also about a 99% chance you are in elementary school, and that you can name one player on W.A.M.U's team. OK, so what Hokie Nation just said to the Western Michigan Fan, along with 5 other guys on this post, isn't considered a personal attack??? Sounds like the KU fan is being singled out here. Um no, the difference here is Hokie Nation has been on here before and had rational conversations. This guy is just an obvious troll who has come on here to attempt to rial up the board. I'm more worried about Kansas because Mizzou lost some key players. Rucker is no longer there to bail out Daniels. The running back is gone. And, I believe that I read somewhere that Mr. Daniels has decided to pull a Mo and show up like 25 pounds overweight to training camp. Kind of makes me wonder about his dedication. IMO, the fat man is so far above and beyond pickle in terms of coaching that KU has me much more concerned at this point than Mizzou. Where did you read that Daniels showed up 25 lbs. overweight? Anyway, I hardly think that's relevant considering 25 lbs. could easily be dropped between now and the football season. If you are more worried about Kansas than Mizzou, you're crazy. Kansas had a cake schedule last year. The "okay" teams they faced, they were barely able to beat. The one team that was good, they lost to (Mizzou), and then of course they beat VT. Kansas won't be as good this season, and their win-loss record will reflect this. I am MUCH more worried about Mizzou... Unfortunately, neither Kansas or Missouri are worried about NU. THEY SHOULD BE, be afraid... be VERY AFRAID! Why? They toyed with us last year and return more of their team this next year than does NU. Why would they see NU much differently than any other 5-7 team? Why should they view NU much differently than say Iowa State? I just read the article and the one thing that really stands out is the following item. "Cook, who has won two national championships at Nebraska and sports a seven-year record of 217-15, strongly discouraged any more reporting on the issue. "If you don't stop doing it," Cook said, "I'm going to call over to the journalism college and get this straightened out." Does the coach now run the Journalism college, or is he just censoring it? All world class colleges have the vollyball coaches running the academics. I could see how free thinking college students would run afoul of a coach with this kind of mentality....... Perhaps Dr. Tom should have a sitdown and discuss how these types of statements also give a black eye to the University.

What is he gonna say?????? If he said "were gonna suck, nothing we can do about it......." it would be time to look for another job. My god when those infomercials with billy bob whatever comes on the TV do you run to the phone and start dialing immediatly because "it is the greatest product ever?' JEEZ I know what it is to be a fan, but some of these are people are lemmings. Good thing there are no cliffs nearby. If a coach from (insert team name here IE KU, K_State, etc.. )said "were gonna go from 112th to 1st overall in defence" while loosing alot of the linbacker, and DB deph what would you say or think? After watching pretty much everyone torch the D last year I would rather the new coachs admit there needs to be alot of work to get better, not try to put a layer of "sunshine" on what could happen..........

After last year I think that the season will come down to how the team performs in VT and MU games. I think the first three are "gimmies" but I would not overlook any of them, a loss in any of those three could be devistating to the psyche of the team after last years collapse. The VT and MU games though could end up being the bellweather, this is when it comes time to line up and really see what the team has in regards to talent/potential. If MU comes in and does what OKST did last year in Lincon I think that 6-6 or 7-5 would be the best to look for. I think the "trap" games are KU- trying to give payback and not following the game plan, K-State - Same as KU but with trying to pay freeman back being the issue, and CU- Last year they were so up and down from week to week it is hard to judge who you will get this week. All of that being said, or written in this case, I would predict 7-5 with a bowl game bid.

I would only want a Player who wants to be here, not where momma tells him to go, I would want a player who has his whole heart in itI wonder if she lets Will have his balls when he goes out on dates....................... .

Why dosent the league(s) move their championship games past the BCS selection date? Is there a date that all conference games have to be completed by? If not that would cure the BCS selection being skewed by the conference championship games......... and it would warm a evil corner of my heart by fU&*()^ the BCS over.............

I have to throw the bullsh#t flag on this, When Gabbert comitted he went after several other recruites who had committed to other programs, I remember one of these being Andrew Jones TE who committed to Missouri. There are several post about how great this is, and how it pisses every one else off. Now the shoe is on the other foot and "the best fans in college football" are pissy Gabbert is doing the same thing, but for another program. It seems like Neb fans have a sense of entitlement, and "the best fans in college football" are not showing their class by sucking it up and taking it like a man when things are down. Get things in order in the program before bitching about how a recruite sees the university. If I am a highly recruited player, not from Neberaska, tell me what going to a program in disarray is going to do for my 4 to 5 year college football career? I am not looking at tradition, I am looking at what you can do for me right now. Can this help me further my playing career, or am I going to be a player on a "rebuilding" phase of the program that has no guarentee of going anywhere. Take the blinders off, it is about the CURRENT state of the program and the COACHES that make the program what it is that I evalueate, the rest is all BS.

Are you Serious? What would be the reason? to see if Neb can stay within 30 points of K-State at home?? Possibly to say goodby to Callahan??? Perhaps to be shouted at how much the football players suck by the fans???? Right now it would be best if they stayed at home until everything is settled down (firing Callahan and staff) and perhaps the cooling down of the fan base. Until then it would be a waste of time........

"Denver, CO Offensive tackle Bryce Givens a verbal to Nebraska is to be at Mizzou for Saturday's game. Rivals has him as the 11th best offensive tackle and graded out as a 4 star". any truth to this? seems like the class of 08 is going to be a large Vacuum.

So does the coaching inverview go something like this. Tom Osborne to the coaching canididate "We are interested in having you be our new coach. but we have the following conditions. I am going to ""help"" design your offense that you will be running. you will be responsible for implementing it, in the way I want. You will have total responsibility for the football program, but you are not going to have the authority to run it like you wish. Any and all failures will be laid at your feet, while I will be there to bask in the victories when they come. And because you are the head FB coach all responsibility will land directly on you. What do you think................... are you interested?" It sounds to me alot like a glorified assistant coaching position is what they are wanting to fill.
