who is going to represent the Big 12 north in the championship game and why? i think KU because they are more sound on both sides of the ball and after the way KSU took it to the MU D i dont think that MU can stop KU. MU is more explosive on offense but i just dont see them matching points with KU. thoughts?

Actually, he was my choice last time. Unfortunately, he wasn't available until the 2005 season. I thought Pud should have given Solich one more year. If he still deemed it necessary to fire Solich, I thought he should have put the "full court" press on Davis. Are you serious? Butch Davis raised Miami Football from the dead that Jimmy and Dennis left behind with NCAA sanctions and probation. He didn't have all the talent in Florida as he had a lot less schollies due to probation and the near death sentence. Also, Florida was getting the best talent in the state when Davis took over. I guess your definition of not doing good and mine are totally different. Miami from all the teams that have been on NCAA probation rose back to the top faster than Alabama, OU, etc. The reason they made it back to the top so fast was because of Butch Davis. i disagree, the reason they rose back to the top so fast was because you can recruit florida much better if you are in florida. just because you have less scholarships it does not mean that you do not have as much talent it just means that you have a little less depth. alabama OU etc. did not come back as fast because their talent level was not as high. i will say however that it is obvious that davis is a better HC than some of the guys that those schools had, but he is not a great coach by any means.

i think no, because he has not seemed to have much success as a Head Coach other than at Miami and even then when he had all of the talent in florida to choose from he still had a losing season in 1997. and he has also only had one season with more than 9 wins. just something to think about but i think that would be a horrible choice, based on the fact that he did not do that good in miami and NU is much harder to recruit to. thanks anyway but ill pass.

agree, as a chiefs fan as well i would also welcome him to the chiefs. that would give us a good defensive minded coach in herm and a good offensive minded coach for the O in callahan. i think that would be a very good combination considering that the WCO is a ball control offense and that is what Herm likes to run.

i really would like to see KU in there. i think that oregon is better than LSU, so i would like to see a KU vs. Oregon game. how can KU get held out if they win out, they are in a major conference and they will have beaten both MU and OU two top 5 teams in two weeks. that will be some crap if KU gets held out, the SEC is not as good as people seem to think (there is not enough "parity" in that conference to have all of these teams with as many losses as many of them have, its just not as good of a conference as the big 12 or the pac 10 in my opinion). Go KU win for the big 12.

it seems to me like we play well against teams with good defenses and bad offenses. CUs offense is horrid. i think we roll them and yes i did think that before the kstate game. im seriously thinking something to the tune of 55-21. and no i have not seen any koolaid in a couple of months. MARK MY WORDS. GBR.

i still think that the sec is not as strong as people think, even espn analysts are starting to agree. but that is a topic for another thread.

Damn! I just realized this whole Callahan mess was caused by a friggin typo! The secretary put a hyphen into the word "resign" and Cally actually thought he was "re-signing" his contract and not resigning it! Once Pederson realized the screw up he was too embarrassed to actually tell BC he was canned, BC being so happy and all what with the vote of confidence from NU...and the rest is history. hey man, just curious are you up in ames? if so do you know of anywhere to watch husker games up here. the only place i know of is westcyde wings but you dont get sound. pm me. thanks

id take a guy that has had success in th sec. supposedly the sec is a tougher conference and he has done well there, so maybe he could do some damage in the big 12. plus he runs a west coast offense i believe, so not much would change, just better coaching!

i agree with that i think with his potential he should be about a 4th round pick
