not so fast my friend... agreed... i see there being no way in hell that Kevin would actually WANT the job, other than the fact to say f**k off to Stevie P.. he has an AWESOME gig with westwood one and plus he can do the broadcasts for NET with nebraska again.. the main reason NET didn't have more baseball games on was b/c Stevie P supposedly wanted more attendance at the games.. and if Kevin were to take the job which would more than likely include baseball.. he would no longer be able to do any of this.....

what's the point in being so negative in that sense? and why.. to get a whole 2 days wear out of it before it happens?

yes.. but a requirement of the new HC could be that TO requests that he keeps certain coaches on the staff.. and who is any potential coach to question the greatest figure in Nebraska history? look where it got BC....

while i'm sure he can be entertaining, I try to take the ex-players who are joining in on the piling on with a grain of salt -- if it is so easy, why aren't more of them in coaching college football instead of broadcasting? He did some high-school coaching, but I guess it's easier to move on to media and use that platform to turn up the heat, build some website traffic and garner some ratings instead of answering questions from fans and media after a tough loss. yes.. possibly the case... but please point out these tough losses? ive seen Texas.. thats about it.... everything else has just been absolutely pathetic from the get go... not too tough of a loss when you get beat by more than 2 scores...

i also thought that todays show was awesome.. well what i heard of it for that matter.. i had to go to work.. i thought that peter's rant from about 340-345 was great.. talking about how pathetic everything is going about position changes that need to be made n etc.. i guess he is always criticizing it but i just love listening to him talk about our current defense

I would like to see muschamp or pelini either one being at the top of the list.. we NEED to start on defense and i think if we can get watson to stay on as the OC we have a very good base there.

The kid in the dorm-room next to me was at a party this past weekend where he saw Jaivorio Burkes. (He noted that he was not drinking or doing anything wrong.) This kid said that there were many other kids at the party that were asking Jaivorio many questions about the football season and coaching situation obviously. When the question came up "Is there any chance at all that Callahan will be back next year?" Jaivorio replied that he gurantees that Bill would be back next year.. he said that he would put $100 down on whoever wanted to bet that he wouldn't be back next year.. he then upped that ante to 1 grand.. When asked about Coz's chances he admitted that Coz would be gone for sure... Obviously, this would be in the rumor section for a reason.. this DOES NOT fit my personal beliefs as i have felt for quite some time that Cally has no shot at being back next year seeing his original feelings of disrespect towards TO and disrespect for the Nebraska Tradition. Like i said hopefully this is just a player blowing smoke as this would be absolutely ridiculous.. and it could be that Cally is telling his players he will be back next year to try to get them to play harder or something.. But again this is NOT my opinion in anyway whatsoever.. nor am i claiming this is insider information or from a booster or from inside the athletic dept. It is from a (huge) freshman player. Nothing more... blah.. gotta be wrong.. right?

i would say he needs to prove he can win at least another year after this once a lot of the hawkins built players are no longer starters.. see how he coaches and builds the players

i was at mizzou.. and sat around quite a few mizzou fans.. and had 0 problems.. from pregame.. to kickoff.. to final.. no problems whatsoever.. so it wasnt all of them.. but if you looked outside the stadium with the river of beer cans its kinda expected to have some drunk fans talking sh#t.. and yes.. its not just nebraska fans saying we are the classiest in the nation.. its the media.. its opposing teams.. its opposing fans.. it just goes to show that not everyone knows how to win yet.. they'll learn eventually... yes.. kellen huston absolutely LIT UP the mizzou fan.. no it wasnt acceptable.. but it WAS asked for.. you taunt a football player that is frustrated immediately following a loss.. missouri fans were told NOT to go onto the field and they did anyway.. the kid was trespassing... im not saying its an ok thing.. because i do not stand for that and i think it was wrong and should never of happend.. but the student should never have been there in the position to get punched...

So far, he has only been right on the first 2, and numerous other places had reported that info first yet the circle jerk continues to grow. Pederson was fired. (1) TO is interim AD. (2) Cally was only resigning with two poor performances.. texas was far from poor... They are trying to get Pelini? well we don't know for certain.. TO has "people" and BO has "people" not saying its true either way.. but its possible.. simply.. we. dont. know. Money from cook did stop. (3) not saying i agree with what "will" happen but anything could be true, and someone that broke the story rather early, and was right for the first couple statements.. it's obviously not JUST blowing smoke

That's not exactly true. I just heard on 1620 tonight that 13 of 22 starters are Solich recruits. I'm just sayin' . . . Who exactly are these 13 starters that were Solich recruits? The only ones they could be is redshirt seniors because BC is in year 4. On offense, none of the RB's or QB's are Solich recruits. Only maybe 1 or 2 OL could be Solich recruits. Only Nunn as a WR, but he decommited when Solich was fired and BC brought him back so I don't know where to put him. On D, the DL is all BC recruits aren't they? The LB's 2 of them are Solich recruits. For DB's isn't only one of them a Solich recruit? green and grixby... for DB's.. maybe bowman is being thrown into that 13 also? its possible but i dont know for sure.....

very interesting about the Texas game.. i'll call it luck this time however.. how many 2nd half points did we put up against A&M.. bill may have been calling in the plays.. but perhaps watson was giving suggestions? i dont know just seems like a possible way to avoid more controversy with coaches.. maybe not but at least its wishful thinking

With the on-field performance being so pathetic.. everything from offense to defense to adjustments, take away this past week... and the comments that BC has made about TO and the lack of respect BC has shown for TO.. I see there being no way that TO will "like what he sees" in any possible "changes" he may make to the offense..

because he wore husker gear up until the firing of stevie p.. and now he has stopped... and conceded the fact he will be gone next year it seems...

And that's a bad thing? i sincerely hope that is a joke... yes it is a bad thing when they are preparing for a bowl game.. isn't the last thing you want when while getting ready to play let's say a BCS bowl game is a bunch of exhausted players from non-football activities the night before?

especially when the season ends in november instead of late december or january...
