  1. Youngstown State is looking for new coach. Tressel is president of the school. Maybe he wants to interview Pelini. Would be a good hire for them.
  2. Nice punt return moves. I don't think I've seen so many moves since my high school prom.
  3. I'm the same way. I've been mostly rooting for ISU only to take a pause and say "what?" Heck with the Big 12....I'm rooting for Iowa.
  4. The game is now on Sirius 127. They fixed it.
  5. Great game. If we beat ND and Creighton takes care of business in the first two rounds, perhaps the Lobos will make a return to the Qwest for a rematch against Creighton. That loss in November was tough.
  6. Good luck to both teams. It will be a great matchup. I managed to watch the UNM-Creighton game when I was visiting Omaha last November, perhaps I'll make it out to "The Pit" to see this game!
  7. Leave the Huskers in the Big 12. Perhaps Nebraska-Omaha (UNO) should move up and play in the Big 10. Their Hockey team plays in the CCHA which has many of the Big 10 teams in it. If they can compete with Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, etc in hockey then they should be able to compete in football. <sarcasm> Kevin
  8. I would hate to see Watson leave Nebraska, but I think he'd do well here in New Mexico. The Lobos need some help on offense.
  9. An interesting article in Wednesday's Omaha World-Herald in which UNO is ranked 28th. I wonder if this year's UNO team could beat this Nebraska (Lincoln) team. Hey, since UNL might not make a bowl game we should have our own. Mavericks versus Cornhuskers at Caniglia Field. Any thoughts what the outcome would be? http://www.omaha.com/index.php?u_page=1200...;u_sid=10166120
  10. If the Mountain West or (more likely) WAC doesn't have a team to fill a slot there is always the New Mexico Bowl. CBS Sportsline a couple of weeks ago picked Colorado to take the WAC's spot in that game, but now I feel it's more likely Nebraska if an opening and 6 wins. I'd take the short drive there to watch them play. Albuquerque is much better than whatever city hosts the Independence Bowl in my opinion.
  11. It seems like Pederson was in the process of booking Hawaii for 2009/2010 and now it's in limbo. Hopefully Tom will complete this deal as it would be a great matchup, plus I'm sure the players would like to go there. Link: http://www.honoluluadvertiser.com/apps/pbc...mplate=UHsports
