Great game. If we beat ND and Creighton takes care of business in the first two rounds, perhaps the Lobos will make a return to the Qwest for a rematch against Creighton. That loss in November was tough.

Leave the Huskers in the Big 12. Perhaps Nebraska-Omaha (UNO) should move up and play in the Big 10. Their Hockey team plays in the CCHA which has many of the Big 10 teams in it. If they can compete with Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, etc in hockey then they should be able to compete in football. <sarcasm> Kevin

An interesting article in Wednesday's Omaha World-Herald in which UNO is ranked 28th. I wonder if this year's UNO team could beat this Nebraska (Lincoln) team. Hey, since UNL might not make a bowl game we should have our own. Mavericks versus Cornhuskers at Caniglia Field. If the Mountain West or (more likely) WAC doesn't have a team to fill a slot there is always the New Mexico Bowl. CBS Sportsline a couple of weeks ago picked Colorado to take the WAC's spot in that game, but now I feel it's more likely Nebraska if an opening and 6 wins. I'd take the short drive there to watch them play. Albuquerque is much better than whatever city hosts the Independence Bowl in my opinion.
