  4. 15- Vince Ferragamo 21 - Roger Craig What do I win?
  5. Nah...Couldn't be CU. Doesn't mention anything about raping co-eds. Must be some other school.
  6. "Bad to the BOne?" Come on...it's been a long day.
  7. The irony of that comparison is killing me!!!
  8. You also knew you were, by default, better than a boy growing up in Cozad.
  9. Refresh my memory, which bowl is Iowa State playing? The Toilet Bowl...
  10. Doesn't matter...the only bowling the Huskers will be doing this year is at Leisure Lanes...
  11. So where were "Big Mo's" words of support while Callahan was under fire? Nice of him to come out with them now that Callahan...and Mo....are gone. He reminds me of the idiots that get drafted by the NFL (or NBA) and wait till they sign that big contract before they start shouting about how "the program shoveled illegal money to me while I was playing at State U."
  12. I seriously doubt Bo would bring his kids and wife into this whole revenge theory. LSU fans don't like Bo. LSU fans don't like air...what's your point?
  13. I like that statement. I can't see him making it, unless he returns to So. & Jr. year form. I think that he gave up after the USC game but "with the tough spring and summer" maybe he gave up then. With that I would love to see him make a NFL squad just to show that we did have talent. Hey! Corey NEVER gave up! It was those "guys"...he even pointed it out in the interview "as we started to falter, guys kind of caved in a little."" See...it was those "guys" that gave up...NOT Corey. Corey would have told us if he had caved in a little because he's...well...Corey!
  14. That would be, like, the ultimate revenge after the way he got shafted by NU wouldn't it...? Interesting speculation...not likely...but interesting.
  15. Brian Bosworth...without the size...skill...speed...or mullet.
  16. Oh yeah? Ever watch Major Harris? Huh? Huh? Now THERE was an option quarterback. Better than any of those goofs. Major Harris > Goofs listed above (Someone needs to agree with me because I'm down to Michael Vick and I REALLY don't want to mention him in a list of greatest anything... )
  17. offenses here.. the kid did nothing that deserves any jail time at all.. jesus.. hes a kid.. give him a break My daughter's 19 year old boyfriend is a Marine serving in Iraq right now. Big kid...6'3, 220 lbs...would've made a great DIII or II LB if he would have hit the books like he hit on the field. I'm pretty sure he would have liked to be at a DI school getting drunk and screwing around for a few years on the state's dime but nobody "gave him a break"...send Witt over to Iraq for a semester and let him find out how lucky he is to be where he is. Maybe that will straighten him out. So let me get this straight: The person your daughter is dating would rather be "getting drunk and screwing around"? Have you told him/your daughter these thoughts of yours? How does that sit at home with you? Second of all, I love the quote when you say "nobody 'gave him a break.'" You mean the free state public education wasn't a break? Oh yes, that's right, he didn't hit the books in high school but that couldn't have been his fault. Apparently Witt did hit the books: 4.0GPA. But he's just "lucky"; never mind the facts that not only is Witt a full-time student, but also spends at the bare minimum 20 hours a week with football. And trust me, practice time carries over to off time; you're not exactly in a great state of mind to hit the books after workouts. But like you said earlier, Witt is just "lucky" and his "lucky" breaks have nothing to do with discipline and hard work. So to teach him a lesson, we should send him off to Iraq? Did I really get that part right? Iraq? Where did that come from? Is that to teach him how "lucky" he is? I guess in your world Iraq is an option for the "lucky" kids who get "a break". Let's reexamine the situation. A college freshmen gets drunk during dead week, makes an idiot of himself, and then tries to run away from the cops. Yes, Witt has to shoulder much more responsibility than most kids. Yes, Witt did a stupid thing. Yes, Witt deserves to be punished. But to those of you who are calling for his head, I think you should relax and realize that very few people are as smart or as logical as yourself. Witt messed up; it's not excusable but it's reality. I am sure Dr. Tom and Bo would like all their athletes to sustain from alcohol but they are at least somewhat understand that kids do stupid stuff sometimes. That "whoosh"ing sound that you heard was the point flying over your head... What I was referring to were all the "He's just a kid...give him a break" comments, like Witt is some 8 year old or something. The guy is no longer a kid and should know the difference between right and stupid. But, if you want to push the "lucky" aspect...I'll say it again. Witt got some lucky breaks in life compared to the young man I'm talking about. If you want to compare histories of the two I'll be glad to tell you his life story. If Witt wants to piss it all away so he can act like a retard...no sweat off my ass.
  18. smith is co-ed for what its worth.. HSS is where all the freshman athletes stay.. and it seems like some people are jealous that these gets got a great opportunity for being athletic.. what about the kid that is on a full ride for academics and screws gets mip'd and a DUI that later gets lowered to reckless driving.. seems like he is being given the SAME ride on the SAME states dollar.. but no one seems to give a sh#t about him! and i think 99% of the people here can agree that DUI is a TON more serious than anything that is brought against Witt here.. plain and simple, athletes are held to higher account and its 100% bullsh#t.. they are kids just like the rest of all college students... there is no reason for him to receive any more sh#t than should the honor student that messes up worse.... What are you even talking about?? someone above pointed out how he is on the STATES dollar going to school for nothing.. i'm saying that i know for sure of at least one college freshman at UNL this year, that is in the honors program, that had exactly what i stated happen.. oh wait, he had no punishment though.. he has a full ride.. pretty sure that is the same dollar that a football scholarship is on for the most part.. that is what i'm talking about.. Ship his sorry ass to Iraq too...
  19. Hands down the greatest option qb to EVER play the game. Bobby Douglas > Tommie Frazier
  20. yes.. give him a break.. look how serious the counts are.. MIP.. wow.. because i'm not living on a floor where 12 of them have already been given out this semester.. hmm that must be rare! disturbing the peace? wow.. that could be as easy as talking above whisper right now in the dorms.. 24-hr quiet hours due to dead week.. trespassing? being in the dorm without being either a) checked in or B) without the girl that checked him in.. .. 3rd degree verbal assault? had a friend get one for saying "f#*k RALSTON" while driving away from a gas station.. fake id? never seen one of those, IMO that is the most serious of offenses here.. the kid did nothing that deserves any jail time at all.. jesus.. hes a kid.. give him a break My daughter's 19 year old boyfriend is a Marine serving in Iraq right now.
  21. Humm was a better QB than Frazier...Humm should be #2.
  22. The HP stands for "Horrible Picture"...don't waste your money. I would like a new Husker coat for Christmas. Not one of those flimsy windbreaker things though...a real coat with a lining and hood and stuff. Getting too cold for the one I have now.
