But you also have to think about cost of living. It might be more to own a house down in Alabama too. Just a thought And if Shawn Watson leaves that'll be a slap to face to Tom Osborne "the greatest coach in college"! Mr. Osborne fought to keep Watson and if he leaves it'll be like laughing at Osborne for wasting his time on Watson. Losing Watson will be a HUGE HUGE loss.

I don't believe in this and all you husker fans should not believe in this as well. Shawn Watson will be on our sidelines next year.

I just registered to this webpage on Oct 16, 2007 so I'm a little new to this page on what everybody does during the on/off seasons and on how everybody gets ready for the season to start. So with that I started thinking and there are times that 1620 Unsportsmanlike Conduct will use some of these post on their show so I thought that we should maybe recognize this webpage during home games and maybe away games. So here's my main question: Does Huskerboard members have a vary important spot to tailgate during spring games or home games? And if not should we consider trying to start one up and use the banner like the one we have at the top of this page infront of our tailgating area? This may sound stupid but it would let us all get to know each other and talk some football while eatting food and drinking some brew. Just an idea and go ahead and lets maybe talk about this or get some thoughts. Thank you and GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!

Spring game played at NIGHT..........ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be at the Nebraska vs Kansas baseball game the day before tailgating and watching that game so this Night game will give me time to regenerate for more tailgating and a good football game.

I wonder how much he'll get paid not that it's a big deal. I guarantee that Bo Pelini will be our Head Coach for over 10 years. I haven't seen Bo coach his own team besides the 2003 Alamo Bowl but I can just tell by the he's been coaching for OU and LSU for the past 4 years and the way the players talk highly of him even when they are done and gone to the NFL. I watched the NC game this year and did anybody see Pelini react to his defensive player who intercepted the ball in the 2nd or 3rd quarter. Pelini ran clear down the field to celebrate with his player and Pelini was jumping in the air. That's the coach that we've been looking for and it'll be great to see our coach do that this year. Geaux Big Red!!!!!!!!

I'm actually confident that we'll have a winning season come next year.....seriously have you seen our schedule not something to brag about but we have like 5 home games in a row and 3 out of the five teams should be a likely win but who knows look at Michigan vs App. State hahaha. I can honestly say that Bo Pelini will be our Head Coach for more than 10 years I'm sure of this. And yes we are losing some recruits but we're also gaining some too....we just got a new OL from Texas by the name of David Grant. Nothing against Dan Hoch but I would rather have a OL from Texas over an Iowa guy anyday...most of the talented players come from Texas. I have total faith in our Coaches of 08' and I can't wait for the spring game...hell i'll be at the Nebraska vs Kansas baseball game the day before the Spring game in which I'll also be attending that one as well. IMO I think that Marlon will make a huge mistake going to the pros at this point. There are far better running backs that will entire the draft this year and Marlon will probably be a second if not a third round pick. I don't think that Lucky showed his true potential this year and if he stays for one more year i'm sure we'll use him more and wisely come next year with Shawn Watson calling the plays. I thought that Brandon Jackson was a stud but I didn't really like his decision about entering the draft early and skipping his senior year. Hell I only thought that Brandon Jackson had a few good games with Nebraska his Junior year (Texas and Auburn games) and that he too should of stayed his senior year. Brandon Jackson sat on the bench this whole season and had one good game where he had like 115 yds rushing. If Lucky decides to skip his senior year I can see him to sitting on the bunch as a number 3 running back.

HuskerExtra.com So far he is our first commitment for the month of January and i'm almost positive that their will be many many more once LSU wins the National Championship tonight. These next couple of weeks will be interesting and I believe that we'll get some of our recruits back to join Husker Nation. I wouldn't be surprised if Simi Kuli comes back to join the Huskers and Bo Pelini. The countdown to the spring game is only three months away and I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do I have to remind you guys that we did play against Auburn last year in the Cotton bowl and I didn't think that their defense was that impressive. IMO we lost that game because of poor play calling on Billy Goats part (Fake punt on our own 30 yard in the 1st qt which allowed Auburn to score their first touchdown and 3 or 4 times in a row where we would throw it on 3 and short and never convert having to punt). I have faith more in Bo Pelini than in Muschamp anyday. It'll be a good match up when we meet with him but i haven't heard of this yet. We won't face Texas till Sept 2010 or for any Big 12 Championship games if met earlier.

Why is there all of this tunnel walk music change? We've been changing Husker Football for the past four years why add to it. All of this change as done us no good. We've hired back TO as interm AD and now he's hanging up memorible pictures of former players and victories and now former players are attending games. "Sirus" is what people no us by when it comes to tunnel walks. You hear this song being played gives everybody goosebumps and it pumps the crowd up. Whenever I hear it, it gives me goosebumps all over. I love this video because of the song that plays off the bat with added videos. Then it moves into the introduction of three former players and then to the Sirus tunnel walk. If you're a Die-Hard Husker fan who'll stand behind tradition then you'll stand behind the Sirus tunnel walk. It's been around for over a decade and if you take that away you'll be taking away a part of Husker Tradition.

Whats wrong with what we have as our tunnel walk now. Why with the tunnel walk change? I like what we had as a tunnel walk last year and what they did at the end of our season this year. You ask any husker fan on what they want as a tunnel walk song they will say "Sirus" all the way. And no 311 please no. And the suggestion of AC/DC is a great one but their music is over used in all sports. The tunnel walk that we got now is perfect.

First of all I would like to appoligize for my actions last week. I talk to AR Husker fan over what had happen and that it wouldn't happen ever again. It's been a down couple days for me and we all know what happen on wednesday in Omaha but my buddy died in a vehicle accident on wednesday as well. He will be leaving behind his wife and four kids whom the youngest one is only two months old. So please pray for his family for they won't have a father on Christmas. With that said during my suspension and with Bo being hired I designed two T-Shirts and I hope you guys like them if not, oh well I did them for fun. Thank you all and GO BIG RED

That this years spring game will have the biggest attendance in Husker History whether who gets the coaching job. I honestly could see more than 56K fans sitting and observing the new coaches technique on offense. A new coach coming in and people will be curious on what type of offense that this new coach will run. I'll be there for sure.
