That's the problem if you ask me. It's becoming a silly game. It's coming to the point where we will only give them out with a perfect season or something. With the way the coaches view it now, the team will never be given them, or "earn" them, if you prefer. They dont have to have a perfect season score wise but every single game so far has had blown coverage after missed assignment after arm tackle etc etc etc. So no they dont get them until that gets fixed.

All of you guys make great points but the one you missed is leadership. Over the years this school never got the top of the top talent. They had groups of leaders on the team that carried the hard work tradition to the younger guys and made them accountable thus really driving home what the coaches were teaching. All the recruiting and coaching in the world cannot help a team without leaders from within holding their peers accountable.

I think you have completely missed the point of this thread.

After the last couple years of lay down and die it wouldnt bother me one bit for them to loose out the rest of the year but continue to fight hard till the bitter end. Getting the tenacity and heart back are the hardest things to get back after the last couple years.

Maybe some of you that downed gallons upon gallons of koolaid will finally realize that it will take BO some time to get it going. If this game were last year could you imagine the score? Theres definate visible progress in the fundamentals and that is a large step ahead of last year.
