No bones, with the new penalties out there now Bones were thrown all night long and I doubt that was Bo displeased with turner. After every good play he was running and yelling all over the sideline. Even assistants were jumping up and down on players.

Talk about honesty. Gotta respect a guy for calling it how it is.

Screw the rankings I just want to see our defense smack the hell out of everyone every play.

You dont have to have all the variables to figure it out. Recruiting solely on the basis of a website ranking will not work here its as simple as that.

This team needs a senior leader like Wistrom or the Peter brothers to keep the underage kids off the alcohol. It just leads to problems. While a good leader or leaders is definately needed do not think for a second that that statement is true. During that year there was plenty of drinking by the football team underage or not. Bottom line witt is 18 and made several bad decisions while intoxicated and im sure that everyone on this board is perfect and never had that problem. My hope is that Bo educates this kid exactly how bad his judgement and decision making skills are instead of just reprimanding him.

I think his drug use was largely self-medication-- heroin *ought* to be available as a powerful prescription pain killer because it is outrageously effective as such. He was in some pretty bad pain, from what I understand, and the docs just kept pumping him full of meds. Drug use is often self-medication for physical and psychological ailments and once that is treated, the drugs are easier to kick. Unfortunately, his job just caused more pain, he took drugs to play, then he couldn't play, and that had to be tough to deal with mentally. I mean, it's not like he started doing drugs for fun before he was injured. All I'm saying is that substance abuse is often far more complex than people want to acknowledge. 100% agreed. It is all to easy to take just one more pill to feel better or play just another down and then down the hole you go.

Some of you need to remember that the JUCO wasnt always called that and those types of players were always used heavily down through the years so it wasnt just callahans idea. I cannot remember what the terminology for a juco was but it was talked about after a recent press conference of how TO did go after quite a few of those players.

Wasn't that his brother that had the coke problem? Maybe he did to, idk. I do know that he sure as hell doesn't know what NO means though. If he's ever a member on any staff, they will be in serious trouble. I think his Brother Jason was addicted to prescription meds, he was having team doctor in teh NFL prescribe them for him. And to be quite honest I hope lucky goes and succeeds. All in all I wasnt impressed by alot of his running until late in the season and we need guys that play 4 full quarters of ball every single game.

Inevitably the offense and defense will change next year so how will the current talent level of the team be utilized in a non west coast style of gameplan. I think ganz is good enough to run any offense in college football and he will have a couple damn exciting backs to watch in helu and castille not to mention that I think the O line will be pretty damn good. What about the D? Any young players you folks are looking forward to seeing smash some heads like thenarse. Overall I think the talent pool is pretty good and I think next year may be better than we think. what are your thoughts?
