Interesting that we are looking/offering at TE (especially a JC TE) with the limited scholarships and the depth we have.

I don't think we have the scholarships this year (even with Witt leaving) to take two QBs in this class. If we did I would have to assume the other QB would be a JC guy.

I'm actually kind of hoping that it is wrong. Little Gabbert is a good prospect, but he is not a top QB in this class and I was hoping for a stud along the lines of a Cody Green. Obviously the staff and Watson like him, so I have to go with the guys who get paid to do this... but I was really hoping that we could lure another top tier prospect like Zach Lee or Austin Hinder or AJ Derby.

There is a lot of chatter on the internet about this... I guess we just need to wait and see if its true.

How can Colorado not offer these instate offensive linemen? Are they that stacked on the O-line?

I kinda had that feeling with djon washington and he ended up here. I hope its the same with this guy.

Didn't make it to the spring game and according to some quotes from him... he maybe not be 100% solid.

According to chatter on some mizzou boards...it seems that they think he will end up somewhere else. They state the that they have already taken a QB in this class plus his desire to play early. They think it maybe NU/Iowa and then MU in third. Just another prospective, FWIW.

Will probably decide in the next month or so....might revisit Lincoln with mother (always a good sign). Wants to decide before he loses his spot at the school he wants.

I'm glad to see us going after him...he says we are one of those that are recruiting him the hardest.

If I'm not mistaken, his offer to play at Michigan was redacted. It was in either a OWH or LJS article. I think they mutually decided to go a different direction...so I think Michigan is out. Syracuse (close to where he grew up and a place he could possibly start next year) seems like another viable option for him...he may visit this weekend.

Has said that he would accept a scholarship offer if extended (does not have one as of now). Would probably know by tomorrow (Monday) and would play safety (not linebacker) if he comes here.
