  1. If it wasn't for their crap play calling the game would be a lot closer
  2. Newby's hesitation hitting a hole is awful and it seems like he needs years to pick up speed after a cut
  3. 1. players tend to break their personal records against this defense 2. again, a near comeback shadows people's minds about how bad this team played (MSU from last year anyone?) 3. people blamed the sloppy play on Bo's demeanor, well this team plays as sloppy 4. Mike Riley is gonna fail at NU and it's not gonna be pretty
  4. Nice to see FSU fall apart with JW's fumble being the icing on the cake
  5. Since losing Bo means losing @FauxPelini, I think he should stay!
  6. Total Yards 173 to 623 Offensive Plays 64 to 64 Yards per play 2.7 to 9.7 ...after 7 yrs of coaching #nof%&kingprogress

  8. @FauxPelini: Silver lining is we're shutting down Gordon in the 4th quarter #adjustments So true
  9. In the CCG we at least had that awesome Bell block now we have like nothing
  10. I should switch to the bama game but I it's like a car wreck can't take my eyes of off it

  12. I don't buy that at all. Using that logic you can say they packed it in against Oregon. We can't control what the other team does. The Huskers gave themselves a chance to win in the end and made the plays to give themselves a chance. Both teams made mistakes. If you lead by more than three tds with a quarter left against a team that had showed no pulse on offense whatsoever and the stadium emptying until there's only a fourth left don't know, there's a big chance you lose focus cuz you think the game is over. So the chance NU had at the end of the game was solely because MSU stopped playing. Can we control that? No, but don't give credit where no credit is dueThis is such crap and such a double standard. If NU has a 20 pt lead and MSU comes back like that you would be complaining about NU losing focus. It's ok for MSU to do it but it wouldn't be ok for Nebraska. Not sure what you are reading into my statement. I just think the reason the game got close had a lot more to do with MSU giving up than NU fighting so hard till the end. That almost pick6 that turned into a 40yrd Westerkamp catch changed the momentum for good an MSU just wasn't able to regain focus. Focus just ain't a switch you turn back on. Before the almost comeback this board was on the brink of another meltdown and now a lot of people seem to be sort of satisfied with outcome because NU fought hard till the end but simply denying the fact that we got outplayed and out coached yet again on national tv and only had a chance to come back because MSU had packed the bags. If this game and the outcome is considered progress 7yrs into Bo's tenure than we are in for another long ride before anything relevant is gonna happen

  14. I do not understand how anyone, after watching this game, can say we are closer than ever?! The only reason this was not a three or four td game was because MSU stopped playing and because they sucked on offense too. Sure this was not a Wisconsin CCG type loss but still humiliating.
  15. This. MSU keeps on playing, especially defensively, and we don't score at all. Westerkamps catch on the drive of the 2nd td should have been a pick6. Then it's 34:10 and game over. A lucky turn of events pumps life into this team and people seem to forget the 3 1/2 qts before that. SMH
  16. Offense was bad. TA is not a good quarterback. It is going to be TM all over again. People are going to wait for him to make progress but it's not gonna happen. He is locked on receivers, his short passes are awful and he is not even much of a running threat like TM used to be. Also the only reason this game was not a blow out starting the 4th quarter was because MSU playing bad on offense itself. The Westerkamp catch in the 4th should a been a pick6, we got lucky and momentum switched. And since MSU had taken the foot off the gas we had the chance to climb back because they couldn't get back into the "lights out" mode fast enough. But frankly, this game did not look much better than the other prime time games we played in recently.
  17. TD :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh
  18. wow NU has played 1237 games and they have never suffered more rushing yards - glad I was part of it
