  1. Basically he said he doesnt think he will see the field and he misses his family and friends. I wouldn't look into it too much. Its twitter. Though he did say "been a waste" in reference to this year it appears.
  2. To some people, going to the "Husker" game is a social event, an activity, something to do. The game is secondary.
  3. The Nebraska Ticket Office released some today. http://ev9.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetEventList?groupCode=F&linkID=huskers&shopperContext=&caller=&appCode=
  4. I have two tickets for Saturdays game for $125 for the pair. They are in Sec. 40 Row 62. I will accept PayPal as a payment and I can ship out the tickets Monday morning via Priority Mail so you can get them in plenty of time for the game. I was planning on going but had someone back out on me because of the early kickoff. Let me know asap. Please respond to this post and I will get back to you tonight as I will check this post all night. I am also listing these on eBay so first come first served either here or eBay.
  5. I have two general admission tickets to the Minnesota game on the 16th. They are not reserved seats and are in the corners of the Coliseum or in Sec. O (which fills up FAST, so you would want to wait outside before doors open to get).
  6. As long as it isn't a 11 am game (which I think Northwestern will be) I'll be okay with it
  7. The stadium will be half empty by halftime and you can sit where ever you want to.
  8. I'm sure the ticket office will release the returned tickets a few days before the game.
  9. This might be a guess but it appears these tickets are where the visiting band sometimes sits. Maybe they decided not to come. But these are for sure returned OSU tix,
  10. http://ev9.evenue.ne...roupCode=F&cgc= Tickets are $70 each plus a $15 fee per order.
  11. Sean McDonough and Matt Millen are doing the game. https://admin.xosn.com/pdf8/789075.pdf?SPSID=1&SPID=22&DB_OEM_ID=100&KEY=DZKZTPDKEFZDLXL.20111003190150
  12. Haha, that would be pretty awesome. So even 63 rows up at that angle, is it still a decent view of the field I take it? Not Terrible, Not great by any means. No shortage of big screens in Memorial Stadium. Section 21 is where most of the OSU fans will be concentrated. Official visiting seating is in section 21 as well as rows 68-98 in sections 19 and 20 (in south stadium) as well as rows 80-99 in sections 40 and 41 in the north stadium.
  13. It seems to me that Nebraska has played to the level of their opponents in the Bo era. Bo will get them ready for Wisconsin.
  14. That's one of those stupid Bring Back Gameday things that some of the students are doing. I'd rather play Hey Baby after the third instead of that chant. It was pretty cool that we got the Husker Power chant going a couple times while they were reveiwing. I was at the game and from what I remember when they did that chat, those words to the chant were appearing on the ribbon boards, just like when the Husker Power one broke out during the game.
  15. Canes is a franchise, you can eat there in like 25 states. I looked on their website and they don't have any in Washington.
  16. I know it's simple and fast food but Raising Canes on 48th St (a few blocks north of O St. across from Best Buy) Best chicken fingers in the world (in my opinion).
  17. You will have to pay an additional $49 according to huskers.com Nebraska Home Game Student Ticket Validation Nebraska football fans who have purchased NU student tickets are reminded of a long-standing Nebraska ticket policy. If anyone other than a full-time student uses a student ticket, the ticket must be validated and upgraded for non-student use. The Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office, located next to the Huskers Authentic Team Store in the Stadium Drive Parking Garage, will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and generally fours prior to kickoff. Students who want to validate their own ticket can do so any time the week of the game – and are strongly encouraged to get the validation as early as possible. If anyone other than a full-time student uses a non-validated student ticket, it can only be validated on game-day with a cash-only payment. Validated tickets will be marked as validated with a sticker created for this game. The validation process brings the single-game student ticket price of $21 up to the face value of public tickets, either $55, $65 or $70. Nebraska Home Game Ticket Prices Chattanooga Saturday, Sept. 3 $55 Fresno State Saturday Sept. 10 $65 Washington Saturday, Sept. 17 $70 Ohio State Saturday, Oct. 8 $70 Michigan State Saturday, Oct. 29 $70 Northwestern Saturday, Nov. 5 $70 Iowa Friday, Nov. 25 $70 http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=1&SPID=22&DB_OEM_ID=100&ATCLID=1210822
