Having been a Husker fan for 43 years I want to thank Coach Pelini for stopping the downward spiral started by Pederson and Callahan. That happened the first year Pelini took over. Thanks for the 3 or 4 good wins we had while you were here. The come back against Ohio State, the time we beat Wisconsin, or did we just piss them off?, because the next two times we played them they kicked the snot out of us. Of course, when they beat us this year it was probably was a good thing because we didn't have to play an Ohio State team that was probably still pissed off about our come back win. Thanks for the sideline tirades and the screaming at players after the player made a mistake or missed an assignment. This probably helped out our recruiting in a big way. Thanks for the highlight of your time at Nebraska being a touchdown scored by a little boy during the Spring Game. Thanks for the memories Bo, don't forget the cat. T_O_B

You are dead on Knap. You touched on my two worst days as a Husker Fan. First second time around with the Sooners. We had had a miraculous win over a superior team with Billy Sims, Thomas Lott and Kenny King running the bone. Then the slap in the face from the Orange Bowl and having to play them again. But my worst night was losing to Miami on their home field in '83. It would be fun to have a couple beers sometime and share memories of being a Husker Fan. My proudest moment was when TO went for the 2. We don't kiss our sister in Nebraska. My best moments: JR taking it to the house in '71, total domination of Minnesota in '83 and winning about $450. from the Minnesota idiots here in Sioux Falls and of course TO's first NC and rubbing Miami's nose in the dirt in the 4th Qtr., and finally blowing the doors off of the Fun and Gun for TO's 2nd NC. My best Christmas present came early. The Holiday Bowl is on ESPN and not CBS. No chance of Gary Danielson being the color man on this game. I don't believe there is any announcer in sports with a voice as irritating as his. T_O_B
