  1. That's not an example of pro-Christian bias. That's an example of the ACLU advocating something contrary to the wishes of the church. How are you reading that as pro-Christian?
  2. What the....? I just saw this thread. You people are WAY bored if you're talking about me. I think the most important thing in this thread is that I have actually met the one and only GMoose. He is actually a real person, not a myth. Whatever happened to the Texas logo, Moose? Did it get burned anyway?
  3. He's answered at least one of my letters. Could be more - I forget now.
  4. He has written some pretty "pro" NU stuff also, I think he was just as shocked as the rest of us of the performance last week. Yeah, overall Stewie is pretty "pro" NU. He was a semi-frequent guest on Jason Peter's radio show back in the day.
  5. Stewie is a huge Boise St. supporter. He jumped on their bandwagon a couple years back and hasn't jumped off. This year when, once again, Boise is going to drop in the polls because of their ridiculously weak schedule, he wrote a whole column comparing Boise's schedule to ours. Apparently he's still on the "dog Nebraska" kick.
  6. Which just goes to show that it's easier to talk football than to know football. I'll be the first to admit I'm no expert.
  7. It was a short, exciting ride for Texas Tech last night. Unfortunately for the Red Raiders all the excitement was on the other side of the net. Kayla Banwarth had several brilliant digs last night. I've seen a lot of volleyball in my day and I was shouting "Whoa!" at some of the digs she pulled off. As awesome as she is, she gets none of the praise she deserves.
  8. Voted again. Vote every day!
  9. I was thinking Barney's title of Associate Head Coach was more honorary than anything. No?
  10. I would love to have Frost come back to Lincoln. The people who bought his old house are very nice, but they're not as cool.
  11. This article highlights a snapshot, not a trend. The political maelstrom ebbs and flows, but whether they are called Republicans or not, there will always be that voting bloc that is faith-based.
  12. I don't think that's paranoia at all. In fact, that was one of my first thoughts as well.
  13. Can you show me who has posted that thought? I haven't seen it here at HuskerBoard. All I've seen is people ragging on him for the OWH quotes.
  14. I guess it got here today, a white van was filming it from the gate. FWIW News van? This seems very much like what happened with other coaching searches. If Wats goes to Minnesota I'll tip my cap and wish him well. I just hope he keeps Cosgrove for one more year. Please, Wats, as a personal favor to Nebraska, make that happen!
  15. I don't think anyone cares if Niles tells Watson or Bo that he wants the ball. The attention-getting thing to most people was the article in the Weird Harold, because Huskers don't do that. That article, combined with the drops against Texas, are why he's getting more focus than Kinnie and/or Burkhead and/or Enunwa, all of whom also dropped easy catches. I'm also 100% in Niles' corner on-field. Even though he's frustrating, I still love the guy. He's as Husker as you get.
  16. Duncan does do refurbishing of many kinds of aircraft, but I think with Willie posting what he posted, it's not a service trip. We'll just have to wait and see.
  17. What is most interesting is that they are allowing those talks to happen, at this time. We still have a lot to play for this year. The fact that they are willing to allow these talks at this stage of the season means they must not be too concerned about the guy the Gophers are interviewing. Eh, it isn't that. If a team wants to have the coach lined up quickly, you cannot slow their process down and hinder a coach from potentially moving up the ladder. I mean, we met with Bo in October as well about the HC position. All those rumors around the Texas game were not rumors. Bo has also made it clear that he's full-go on his assistants moving up the coaching ladder. It's remarkable sometimes there haven't been more schools sniffing around here lately. We'll just have to see how this pans out. They may not take one of our guys.
  18. I would like to see video of this play, but if I'm not mistaken this is the play that the Texas guy said something to our player before he threw the bones. At least that's what I recall.

  20. I wouldn't bet my money on that, Fro. Heck, I wouldn't bet your money. This team is way too unpredictable for my tastes.
  21. I put the link in there for you, holvy. To insert a link in a post, copy the URL from the page you're linking to, then click on this icon above the box you type your message in: That opens a little pop-up where you past your URL, and insert any text you want to turn into a link. By default it has "My Link" but you can change that to anything.
  22. I saw that, too. I think Prince won't make many honors lists because very few teams are stupid enough to throw his way. He'll still be a first-rounder.
  23. As a quick note, I was in line behind Jordan at the coffee shop a couple of weeks ago. She's in tremendous shape, and she's so tall, yet she puts it all together so well. Team USA is lucky to have her. Also, Stacy Sykora is still playing for Team USA? Good gravy, that girl has been playing ball for a LONG time! ! ! ! ! Funny picture with the article:
