  1. Bo like a bipolar person would. Would go to extremes one way or the other. I don't believe that we couldn't win with what we had in those first few years. He was unwilling to change schemes and thought personnel would be better. And then he found his scheme doesn't work without speed and then went all out in that direction but some of the best couldn't figure it out so they didn't get to play. I am guessing Bo's coaching style individually matched his extremes in other areas. No matter what it is your fault and you are trying to derail me personality was so obvious but no one got it until the audios came out.
  2. Yeah it is baffling to me that the state with one of the largest underground aquifers is where they they feel is the best place to run the pipeline. I was curious does anyone watch the Blacklist and the latest episode about a pipeline that pushed though quickly and ended up leaking into their surface water supply, and poisoning it with acids killing lots of people and covering it up through lobbyists. I like how they use current events and place worse case scenarios into the episodes.
  3. One huge difference from last years to this year is Gallegos took a lot of pressure off of Petteway and Pitchford. Shields was really hit and miss and then after he hurt his ankle it was worse. Now this year should have been even better because we had two slashers in petteway and shields and a spot shooter in pitchford. But, for some damn reason petteway won't drive to the basket unless he gets to drive into three defenders and turn it over. Pitch can't shoot or much of anything else this year, just completely lazy. Shields has been pretty good at creating good looks for himself, but it seems as though it only happens when petteway is on the bench, he needs more touches Every possession. And why in the hell is tarrin smith not playing 75% of the point per game? L Smith needs to start and rotate with Abraham only, and Pitch needs to split time with Rivers only. Its pretty damn obvious pitchford can't play physical ball ( which I have a different name for it, but my wife says I need to quit saying that). Fuller needs to get more minutes through Petteway and Shields hell maybe with some more playing time we can see if he can get into some sort of rythem?!
  4. I believe god told us to be stewards of the earth. But I've never met a christian who actually follows god's teachings, so whatever. While this is all true. I don't believe God is going to come and say hey you need to take care of things or else. People will do what they do and when the end comes it comes. I have met some, but most people are in it socially and not religiously. And especially love the ones who have to go out of their way to show everyone how much they donate and then rub it in others face. Pretty sad, but they are the problem.
  5. Yes having abig man that will be physical and can make a bucket from point blank is a necessity. I think Miles is a really good coach, but it is yet to be seen if he can get more talent here. Hopefully there will be some locals in the near future worth taking a hard look at, but other than that we will see.
  6. I hope his mom is ok. But it's a horrible excuse. C'mon. If its bothering you this bad and effecting the team. He needs to quit playing then. Don't use your mom has an scapegoat. Really, please look at the whole team instead of attaching Petteway every game! Yes I agree with this also. No communication, no movement, way to much complaining, no one is even trying to go after a rebound that's more than four feet away. Most of this is on the players, but the coaches need to find some way to wake them up. Oh and the missed layups is just baffling.

  8. Don't feel like going back through reading your comments, but do you really not think Miles will get bit done here in the long haul? I guess it depends on what you think is "getting it done", what do you mean by that? Coming out with twenty wins on a consistent basis. And looking competitive in our losses.

  10. It sure seems as though there may be more going on than petteway's mom (not trying to be insensitive), but there is absolutely zero communication. I need to start counting how many times if the shooter would follow his shot he would get the ball back, if he catches it lol. Sad to admit but I have a hard time watching the whole game. So frustrating. Next year will be better.
  11. Well that should help out the So Easy to Cheat conf. Hopefully Williams will stay. Sounds like Anderson and Lee are OK with it.
  12. I think position coaches are fair game pretty much any time in the off season. I would like to see him get someone familiar with the southeast but hopefully someone who will also stick around. Its hard enough to get top level talent here, and it makes it that much worse with the Huskers tract record in this position. I am wondering, because I'm not sure about the rules, but can a signee leave because of this without penalty?
  13. Late to the party here but as far as scientists theories... Well that's true because no one really knows. Although some of the theories are alarming, there are many more that are way out there. As far as God, well I believe God will let us live the way we choose and at some point as in the past per the bible and Noah God may say that our lifestyles aren't worth being left to exist and start over.
  14. Andy Kendeigh and Thor Trip are really good. I used to listen to unsportsmanlike conduct religiously when it was kugler and severe, but Bishop is a total garbage can, and Petersen sucks ass about as bad. I do like sharp and benning. Although benning can get annoying at times when he gets to laughing uncontrollably, but has some really good insight's. Callahan has to be on the good list as well.
  15. He was committed to DONU and got an offer from Erstad if I remember correctly. I was thinking it was a weird break-up though wasn't it? Seemed pretty bitter about it with the old staff.
  16. I am betting he ends up being a good one. Not only is his film pretty good considering, but he has that look about him.
  17. Somebody has to step up on D and be consistent. Benny is much better off the bench, and tarin should be starting. He isn't perfect by any means but is definitely the best option. I think TP needs to work more on foot work and ball handling on D And Off instead of just shooting. We NEED QUICKNESS REALLY BAD!! Completely killing the offense and on breaking the press.
  18. Agree but really like the confidence in Smith. Also, great to hear that about White.
  19. I'm believe this is true with almost every team from HS on up. I honestly don't understand offensive philosophy anymore. I believe this is more lack of talent. Rivers & Benny and sometimes Pitchford give up the ball too quick and do not look. Benny dribbles around the arc without forcing the defense to guard him. Smith on the other had will drive and dish. I agree with you about Nebraska. But, Basketball in general is going to more of a theory of ad-lib/create on your own type philosophy. Yes, they throw out there things like certain players are supposed to screen for other players. But, there is just not a flow and an organization to basketball offenses nowadays. What that does is if you have a lack in talent where a player isn't good at creating offense on his own, it hamstrings him to not be effective on the floor. Great explanation in a few words. Move your damn feet!!!
  20. They will help the offense a lot with or without scoring points
