Who cares? Does it really matter what Gary Pinkel or some radioheads in KC think or say? No! Does it really matter that most MU fans actually were confident that they would whup us again? No! Too many of you spend too much time being upset by what somebody else thinks or says about the Huskers, yet our guys can do their talking on the playing field. Its kind of nice to fly under the radar sometime. I'm excited by the fact that even after a big win, this team is not satisfied and knows they can and must play better. Barney Cotton talking about how subdued the film session was for the Offensive Line after the Mizzou game, just shows that they are working hard every day to get better, and trying to learn from their mistakes. We have not had that attitude around here for a few years. What has Nebraska done over the past few seasons that would have put any fear whatsoever into a hardcore Missouri fan going into last week's game? Relax, and let MU fans be their miserable selves, and just enjoy watching this program grow.

Some people get upset when people post rumors, even though they've labeled them as such. A rumor is still a rumor until proven otherwise. Along with the legitimate rumors that people may have heard from somebody within or close to the program, you will have idiots, like that Mizzou nerd, posting totally stupid crap that anyone with average intelligence should be able to sort out as whacked. Just relax and take it for what it is. Some rumors prove out to be true, and they usually come from the same proven sources. To you folks, I say keep them coming. To the Mizzou guy and other 12 year olds posting ridiculous bs, I say go home, clean your room and do your homework.

Games like this can go either way, it doesn't matter if the fans are "too confident", or if all the prognosticators are predicting us to win. These are the types of games we yearn for. A battle between two Division favorites. Why ruin your day being all worried about it? If we win, great. If not, well then we gotta keep improving. Quit being fearful and weak, and just hope for the best. Many things can't be controlled in games like this. We totally outplayed VaTech, but a couple of plays cost us the game. We move on. Enjoy the moment, don't be afraid of a challenge. I hate waiting for a Ark. St. or Fla. Atlantic type game.

Quit fretting and whining. Its as if some are already looking for excuses, yet I think we'll win no matter who is healthy and playing. Depth people, we have depth.

What a bunch of worry warts on here. Geez, every week people are whining about something that they can't control. Bo said he's fine, if not then I guess Burkhead will have to step up. Good teams battle through adversity such as injuries, illnesses, etc.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I expect Bo to focus on putting a competitive team on the field, not performing like a public relations specialist before or after a game. I love his press conferences, and appreciate the passion he has for success. So many people on here expect him to just take a tough loss like that in stride, yet they get on here and start demanding that some players get benched, etc. The hypocritical fan base is somewhat amusing. Bo is Bo, and I'm glad he was irritated after a tough tough loss. I don't want a phony baloney coach. If you don't like his demeanor, then don't watch it. Today in his press conference Bo was both serious and humorous.

Somebody's way too sensitive if they think that represents bad-mouthing. Those descriptions were as accurate as saying Crouch is caucasian and Frazier is African-American. If telling the truth about somebody represents bad-mouthing, then you must be saying I can't refer to a dumb blond as being either dumb or blond.

Dumb topic. Coach Speak is what it is. If anybody truly thinks Nebraska isn't preparing to play in a loud environment just because Bo said "its no big deal", they're out of touch with reality. Trust me, the Huskers have been piping in noise at practice this week.

OK VaTechies, after I park in Lot 15, where should I go to spend some pre-game time?

That's great that you're a fan of his. I have nothing against him and wish him well, but since he hasn't really seen the field yet, I don't expect to see much, if any, of him against VaTech unless he really has a kickass week of practice.

Some fans just need any thing they can consider to be "bulletin board material" to help them make it through game week. So far, the Huskers haven't provided any nuggets, so they need to reach a bit just to concoct some antidote.
