Well, I think we are WAY ahead of where we have been lately for the 2015 recruiting class. We are in a very good position with several very highly ranked players. I think Bo and co had a learning curve about how to manage their time and balance things out with current players, the current recruiting classes and future ones. Obviously success on the field won't hurt, but it's not the be-all, end-all.

I really hope we can close the deal on this guy. We'd have one of the best O-line recruiting classes in country. I'm already really exciting for the players that we have committed, but this would just be a magically delicious icing on the cake.

After the 2014 recruiting O-line class we're putting together, I would LOVE to see us land him for 2015. Any new updates? Hopefully Darlington & Darlington are working on this guy and Chandler Cox.

Hell yeah, I miss having some linemen that were walking a razors edge of sanity or psycopathy. We need some guys on our lines are that borderline insane and just want to hurt people, mash them into the ground like RG44 does. I miss watching the Peters and Wistrom absolutely wreck other teams and love every second of it. We need that kind of swagger and aggression again. Agree. We haven't had a nasty lineman since I don't remember. Henry maybe? Would love to see some enforcer on that OL that doesn't take crap off anyone. <img class="UMSRatingIcon" id="ums_img_tooltip" /> Yup. I want someone mean like Henry and Incognito. I don't want a dirty player like Romanowski, but I want someone mean who will pitilessly crush their opponent. You don't win football games by being nice. I think if we still had green or heard, we might be able to be choosy, but since they left, I wouldn't mind taking both. Get another DE and OT and I think we'll have a good class.

Hopefully he will be a player that lets the coaches know and then they wait until NSD to announce. At least I think they do that sometimes??? Didn't a recruit tell our coaches like a couple of hours before he announced on NSD that he was N but then he sent his LOI to another school last year?

I hope the coaches, as well as our 2014 O-line recruits are selling Nick on being on the same line as DJ Foster and Tanner Farmer. Having those three on the same line would be so beastly.

IIRC, Nebraska holds the record for having a player on one of the two teams in the Super bowl some 20 times in a row. I remember the announcers of the Patriots/Giants Superbowl talking about this.
