This entire thread makes me wonder if we really are the best fans in football. This is just ridiculous.

I'm actually really disappointed that this argument has brought forth this much controversy. Sure the game didn't fill up the stadium, but finger pointing isn't going to make it better. It seems absurd to me how you guys just bicker and bicker, and point fingers at the student section.

Well if the final game of the year against CU, doesn't get your blood flowing. Then you don't have a pulse! (or your a spoiled college kid who doesn't yet realize what your missing out on!) As a student from out of state (actually from Ft Collins, CO lol), I will be spending my Thanksgiving IN colorado, and won't be able to make it back to the game. This is the case for about 50% of the guys I have talked to, not many students from far away will be able to make it back to the game... so be prepared.

Agree. I kinda like Pokes over Raiders though. So is Prince quitting or what? I missed that memo... He was made to resign, as I understand it. So soon after his contract extension? Who does that? lol

The kid's amazing. Cherry Creek is a top notch school, i remember my school played them last year...

While I agree that his tirades can get out of hand at times, the fact that the headline sits there is just low. This is not the first time ESPN has done this. After Chase Daniels accused us of spitting on him, there were two headlines in the same area, one of which was named "Dirty Huskers?" ESPN just hates us.

I agree with you here a little bit. Seems like they made it a little TOO realistic/hard. Especially when it comes to running the ball. I do enjoy the challenge though The other thing about NCAA 09 is the recruiting, I personally don't like it, but there are some kids on my floor that ONLY recruit..

After every loss this year, Bo has taken the blame for the loss, which shows character and responsibility. I think this is showing that we have a good coach, and I believe we have found the RIGHT coach, but don't you guys think that our players need to step up and accept some of the responsibility? I understand that they are young (relatively speaking ), but I think it would show character if they accepted some of the blame as well.

I agree. He is not a Short Yardage banger anymore for whatever reason. You might as well keep Lucky in there on those plays at least he will hang on to the ball. As far as the title of this topic I don't think it is nitpicking. It is a part of the game that we haven't been good at. Our short yardage game is lacking this year. Ganz couldn't even get a yard on a QB sneak Saturday. These plays didn't hurt us Saturday however the one against Tech was huge and if you think it wasn't you are crazy. Put Okafor in!!!!!!!!! Naw with our punting situation so bad we need to make sure we can convert those 4th and shorts, fer sure.
