  1. Agree. I'm sure this has been brought up in some form before, but I think the situation we are in some what parellels what Oklahoma was going through in the late 90's or whenever, just before they got Stoops. John Blake acquried a lot of good talent, but couldn't seem to get everything out of the players. Stoops comes in a you see a big improvement in year one, and then bingo bango, they are national champions. Not saying it will happen that fast for us (it will be faster, huh) but I think it's an interesting perspective. TF
  2. I love what Doc has done for Husker Hoops. After years of being dissapointed, it seems like we finally have some one who can recruit good players to Lincoln and coach them. My biggest fear is some one coming in (ala Okie State) who might be a more premiere program and taking doc away before he can really get the ball rolling. He def. has earned any extension and raise in my book!
  3. I hope this works out well for Cody, I'm sure he is dissapointed with how his time at NU has gone. I think this move goes well for him. Another question, does this show how deep we are at RB, or how thin we are at LB? Both I suppose. It is interesting that Bo said that the coaches might suggest a player move but they won't force them to make the move. Looks like Bo is gonna squeeze every ounce of potential out of this team! BO BIG RED! TD
  4. LOVE IT! These guys (most of them) are getting full rides and treated like royalty. I don't think it is asking too much of them to stay away from the bars. I realize they are college kids, and they like to have fun, but they need to learn priorities. Huskers football should be #1. This being said, I know when I was in college, if someone told me I couldn't do something, I would have done it just to spite them. I hope we don't have any major situations come out of this, but I think we have a good group of guys, and I don't anticipate any issues. TF
