I have to agree. It doesn't make any sense at all for Nebraska not to be a more intimidating place to play. People need to get off their butts and get rowdy instead of simply clapping. But if we're too loud, then we won't hear the snap count. And that's important. And if we stand, we won't be sitting... and then the people behind us will have to stand... it's a terrible Catch-22 for everyone.

How refreshing that everyone hated that ... I hate when they combine football (or any sport) with the military... as if there is some relation between our college football players and paratroopers... and death... and weapons and war. WTF? Although there were dropped passes and Keller made one (maybe a couple) throwing mistakes, overall the offense ran very, very smoothly. How many "misdirections" and "broken plays" have we seen over the last few years? We'd have a 3rd and short and then the snap would go awry, or the running back would go the wrong way, or something like that. Saturday we didn't see any of that. In fact, after that one delay of game, did we have any offensive penalties at all?! Oh yeah, that bogus O-Interference call. Wha was that?! Kunalic is my new favorite player. Holy crap. I forgot that he was kicking from the 30, too.... that's just professional level kicking right there! And a 46-yard field goal... I don't think Callahan would have let anyone even try that last year. Defense didn't get to the quarterback as often as I would have liked, but I think they'll work out some blitzing packages for USC that will surprise everyone. Ocatavien stunts... fades back... Grixby off the corner... BAM! Down goes BOOTY! Am I getting carried away?!

The Huskers being ranked lowly isn't new... we are in the Midwest and we get overlooked (and I think we're also hated) by many journalists who vote. I think we'll move up after the Big 12 championship... when we win... just so BCS will be able to tout our ranking when they have to put us in a bowl.

I watched a bit of LSU last night with Pellini on the sideline. Why did we let him go? Jeez their defense rocked.

I share the pissed sentiment. USC never gives up though... they come back. They almost won after being down 20 in the 4th quarter. We got beat up by OSU. BEAT UP! We had to move the ball... and we had to stop them, and they just shoved it down our throats. It wasn't a fluke... they beat us up.
