  1. Those of you comparing this game to Colorado... we do not have a real QB today.
  2. No big deal.. Troy State specializes in returns and special teams. This is what they do. Everyone knows that. Right?
  3. Unholy christ... I have to explain to my Latvian friends why I just screamed. WTF.
  4. Unholy christ... I have to explain to my Latvian friends why I just screamed. WTF.
  5. And why is our line struggling against Troy?
  6. Just got the game on in Latvia! Looks like a million turnovers again? On the last play before the quarter, our tackler (missed the name) was really doing some extracurricular work on the running back. Please don't be those guys!
  7. Watching the video and seeing that extra little twist at the end makes my stomach churn. Those of us who have suffered a knee injury can attest to the pain that caused... I hope it wasn't dirty and intentional, but I see no reason for him to do that except to cause pain.
  8. I agree with what HuskerJax said... I actually enjoyed watching this game from Riga, Latvia live... at 2 a.m. despite losing. I cannot remember the last time I just had fun watching a Nebraska game regardless of the outcome. Maybe I am losing my bias, but the game was fun to watch... especially the 4th down in the trenches back and forth toward the end... two teams just grinding it back and forth. good stuff! I could go without 3 turnovers... and maybe just get one back, but meh. For Scott Frost, I imagine that the game felt how I have felt at the blackjack table at times. You think, you got this... dealer showing a 6, and you have twenty showing. Easy money. Then the dealer reveals a 4, then draws and ace and a ten and you think... Jesus... I just cannot win. The dealer kept hitting time and time again last night, and all Frost could do was think... what the f#&% do I have to do to win this game? QB injury was the final bust. Although I was impressed with Turman's confidence and poise.
  9. Careful, it seems every coach who leaves Nebraska goes on to have successful coaching careers.
  10. Who coaches for the rest of the season? Diaco and Langsdorf are mutually hated... so who is up next?
  11. Just spinny wheel same as every other American station. Now it works suddenly... hope it continues.
  12. Can someone just tell me how to listen to this game from another country? Nothing works
  13. I saw that we just signed a sophomore from Bellevue to play at Nebraska in 2020. It made me wonder... are we missing in-state talent? I wasn't sure if there was a way to track it, but are there players from Nebraska schools playing in D1 who are playing great for some other teams? Or do we just not have much of a pool? I am guessing someone here knows and pays attention!
  14. Okay. Going back to sleep. What a fecking joke!!!
  15. I am listening to the Wisconsin feed, and it sounds like cheering when Wisconsin does something good. Do radio stations cheat and pipe in crowd noise?!? #conspiracy
  16. As a person now living out of the country, I am finding it increasingly challenging to get Husker footage. I just want to listen to a live stream of the game, and even that is tough to do. I checked youtube with no results... does anyone have a montage of all of Tanner's interceptions, I would love to see it! Just curious as to what he is doing so terribly wrong. Thanks!
  17. I have seen this in a few posts, and my own family members scream during the game, "LOOK FOR THE DAMN BALL" as our dbacks helplessly try to cover a receiver only to have the ball be caught in front of them with no chance to deflect or intercept. This has been a Husker tradition for several years, and I wonder if it's coaching. How many defensive coordinators have we had with this same mindset of having the players just run with receivers without making a play on the ball? Why is it this way? Is this a strategy? Is it something that has merit and value? I get it, you can run faster if you are looking forward, and you can follow the receiver better if you are looking at him, but once the receiver looks for the ball, shouldn't the defender know to also look? Help me understand this strategy that we seem to be using.
