  1. I don't know when the spring game is. Huskerpedia usually has a countdown to the next kick off (including the spring game) but it's on for the fla atl game. I think it'd be cool if Bo had a night game in the spring.
  2. I wonder how many other voters put as much thought into the bottom half of the ballot as Sipple does.
  3. Baseball and Nascar gets me through. Also, just the fact that it's spring and summer helps alot.
  4. Those were some good pics. Mostly Clemson, as someone else pointed out, but hey they're my new third favorite team. Sorry CU folks, I'm a closet Wisconsin fan, hence you're at number three.
  5. No, I think you're right, I don't think it'll be easy..but certainly doable. As far as our big 12 schedule goes next year, the team that really, really, scares me is Baylor. Look, we all know Oklahoma, Texas Tech, and Va. Tech for that matter, are going to be loaded..it's a given. But these Bears I think are going to be a bit of a sleeper. I think we will be ready for them, at least I hope we are, but taking them lightly could be a mistake.
  6. Anyhoo...Tim, not only did you give us the North title you named our starting QB. What a relief. Guess that's a rap guys, see ya'll in Sept! gunner's right, way too early.
  7. yeah, me too what gives? The hell we're we talking about anyway? Oh, that's right blondes.........
  8. I really think Steinkuhler, Baker, is going to emerge as a stud next year - for the next few years for that matter. At 6' 6" and 290 he's a little bigger than Ty and my guess is he comes out of winter conditioning an animal. Although alot of schools were interested in him he made it clear from the get go that NU was the only school he was interested in playing for, in fact (and I'm not positive of this) I think he committed his Junior year.
  9. I agree we made some great adjustments, but watching the game again I noticed Q making alot of those adjustments on his own. On some of his big runs he WAS intially stuffed, but managed to plant or spin and bring it back aginst the grain. Can't overstate enough how big of an impact he had.
  10. Makes you about the only one around here who doesn't like him.
  11. Thanks for sharing! Looks like you had some fantastic seats, and at least that ten and a half foot tall Clemson guy (from the fifth pic) wasn't sitting in front of you..
  12. It nearly gave me heart attack, but I love the intensity he showed...potentially a game saver.
  13. Dabo has a alot of talent to work with, CU is going to be just fine.
  14. Yes, you will. Goodbye... BOOM!!! Headshot! Great job.................... hehe.....nother one bites the dust.
  15. Speaking of, Lil Red kinda freaked me out. Our band isn't bad, but they're strictly volunteer (not sure if the NU band is or not) and they aren't quite as big and talented as the schools with music majors... I find Lil Red a little disurbing mself....okay, alot. Kids like him though, I guess.
  16. I will add that the level of Competition for the South Teams is higher because they are in better bowls. -North Teams KU vs. Minnesota (came in at 7-5) MU vs. Northwestern (came in at 9-3 and ranked 23rd) NU vs. Clemson (came in at 7-5) -South Teams OSU vs. Oregon (came in at 9-3 and ranked 17th) TT vs. Ole Miss (came in at 8-4 and ranked 25th) UT vs. Ohio State (comes in at 10-2 and ranked 10th) OU vs. Florida (comes in at 12-1 and ranked 2nd) *used the BCS rankings Bogus argument. The North teams are matched vs similar record/finish in conference teams. OSU was ranked higher than Oregon. TT was ranked higher than Ole Miss and are OU and UT. It seems to me that the North teams have wanted the games more than the South teams did. TT wasnt happy about playing in the Cotton, and OSU is notoriously flaky. I agree. You can't say the South's record is understandably worse than the North's because they are playing better teams, they were supposedly better than their competition and lost. The North won the bowl games they were expected to and the South simply hasn't. The reason I disagree is that going into the bowl season, I would say that I expected the North teams to win. I didn't see any surprises there. I would say the South has a bunch of pick'em games, minus TT who really disappointed. You can't compare teams that have pick'em games vs. teams that expected to win. OK, fair enough.
  17. No doubt. I went from saying 'McWho?' to 'Get the ball to McNeil for Chrissakes!'.
  18. Maybe I'm old fashioned, or bad at math, but I'd consider going 9-4 a true winning team.
  19. I agree with this statement. I was worried about their rushing attack and defense alot more than their passing attack. Although they broke a couple of arm tackles for pretty good gains, I think we more than held our own I know this has been said about a thousand times, but, man was I proud of the Black Shirts yesterday. Carl is well on the way to re-establishing the tradition, and the Black Shirts are definitely back.
  20. That was a great play by him... Cacti, where the hell you been?

  22. Yes, they certainly did, but they were team leaders going into the season, so, I didn't find it much of a surprise that they stepped up the way they did - it would have been surprising if they hadn't. I'd have to agree with Henery as being a pleasant surprise, I mean seriously, who goes into a season wondering, 'how do we look at place kicker this year?'. I'd also add McNeil soph. TE to the list.
  23. Thanks Clem, and I agree we need to get these teams together more often.
  24. I'm sorry Philly, did you say something? I got as far as the sig and then.........
