  1. They gave the score, but highlights? Nah. Haven't seen any. Maybe they hate us or something.
  2. I second that. Potter and Steinkuhler are both srs. If Suh were to leave as well.....let's just hope it doesn't happen. We have another Steinkuhler (I think we are required by state law to have at least one Steinkuhler and one Makovicka on the roster at all times) but I'm not sure where Baker is at as far as being ready to start, he's quite a bit bigger than Ty though.
  3. Totally baseless accusation. He might just have a tremendous amount of respect and acknowledgment for Nebraska having played against them. But you assume that he's bitter and classless because you're not happy with his announcing? That makes sense... Hey, we got like 8 months till the next game, have to beach about something, right?
  4. Wouldn't be the first time Dan had a couple of drinks before grabbing the mike. To be honest though, I couldn't really care less about what the announcers think of us. Did they seem particularly proud of Clemson? Yeah, I thought so. But, again, really don't give a shat. Certainly didn't enjoy the game any less because of them.
  5. hmmm...... one of us mis-read the guide. (probably me)
  6. ESPN classic is showing the '84 Orange Bowl at 11:00am today.
  7. They really stood up yesterday. The much ado over nothing 'thunder and lightning' turned out to be little more than a gentle rain as they were held to a combined 44 yards on the ground. Black shirts are BACK baby.
  8. Being able to win the tight ones again is awesome. As far as the not getting out of the game plan and passing more I thought Watson and Bo did the right thing by sticking with it. Granted, Clemson's D didn't have any trouble stopping us before Q checked into the game, but in the end it proved to be the right call. Clemson on the other hand seemed to abandon the run pretty early (I give the NU D line credit for that) and it didn't really seem to work out at all.
  9. Holy crap, it is either to late or it has been to long because I have no idea Yesterday.
  10. He's everywhere that's for sure.
  11. Yeah, if you're going to get a penalty anyway....bean the guy for chrissakes!
  12. Ty Steinkuhler is his name and yes he had a great game. In fact he was the reason Clemson had to go away from double teaming Suh. His dad (Dean) is a Husker legend, and Ty really stepped it up yesterday.
  13. meh....I've seen players do alot worse. It was stupid to be sure, but again, it was just frustration surfacing...it's not like he was going to actually hurt anyone by flipping a ball at them. It was unsportsman-like and deserved a flag, but I didn't think it was all that terrible.
  14. I actually have nothing about him that I "won't" miss. I am very thankful for him being here and would love to see more in the same "mold". History will really shine brightly on what he meant to this team and this staff. THANK YOU.... Joe Ganz! Best of luck to you in anything you do in the future. Amen. He became my favorite all time NU QB when he admitted to being a Cub fan. We Cub fans have to stick together.
  15. I hope not, but you could be right. As far as the actual play itself I really didn't understand what all of the fuss was about, it seemed pretty obvious - to me anyway - he was down. They had a 'freeze frame' shot of him before the ball came out and unless Witt has the ability to float 8 inches off of the field his right knee had to be down. They got it right in the end. another thing; I don't know how many of you heard the comment made by one of the announcers (no clue which of the three geniouses came up with it) but they were talking about replay and said that because of the replay rule the officials on the field don't feel as much pressure to make the right call initially. Basically the point was the refs know they will 'fix' any blown calls in the booth so they don't have to worry all that much about getting it right on the field. I was thinking, "are you f*&%king kidding me?", that's the stupidest thing I heard all game......and with those three, that's saying alot!
  16. Clemson, with the right qb (sorry, but.....Harper is a bit of a puss in my oppinion) is going to own the ACC. They are, by far, the fastest team I think we've played this year. That D of yours is just sick fast. But hey, great game, and best of luck to my new second favorite team next year.
  17. I'm not sure who all watched Cody's championship game a couple weeks ago, but he has just as must of a chance to start as anybody else we have waiting on the sidelines. I am also 99.9% sure that Cody is not coming here to run the same Offense Ganz is running. Not even close to the same style QB's. I agree, Bo has said that he has no idea yet who will be the starter next year. Whoever wants it the most would be my guess. This is a good thing though, I would think.
  18. No doubt. A+ for Bo and his staff's first season..........eh...A- we're not national champs yet.
  19. Suh The big sack, the blocked FG attempt, and the solid play, how do you not give him a game ball.... Suh gets a game ball every week, we all know that!
