  1. anything's possible...just curious though, unless he's unhappy with the coaches, why would he transfer? ...he's played all year and we lose a senior corner in murillo...he'd have a chance to compete for a starting spot next year
  2. whew!! that was a close one...congrats to nu...ugly win but, a win...i really thought we got lucky today..i mean we kept finding ways to throw the game away....i thought watson really held back on his play calling today....we chewed up the clock with the running game but we didn't score that many points...that was exactly what cu wanted, to shorten the game because i don't think they really want to get into an offensive shootout with nu....so we did them a favor there....it seemed like every drive was a 15-20 play drive..you cannot expect to run that many plays on every drive without making any mistakes..it happens....what was lacking was the big plays from the passing game.why? because we didn't attempt to throw the ball that much..only in obvious situation...to be honest we were a little too predictable...and what's with the red zone play calling? horrible..same type of play over and over again...i hope watson doesn't do this in the bowl game...against a better football team nu woulda loss today..nothing against cu...kick coverage team was horrible...every time we kicked off you just have to hold your breath
  3. atmosphere was good...hope the recruits were impressed
  4. shagg

    helu..

thought he looked good today...and most of the season....quick to the hole and very decisive...good to see he's getting his touches
  5. we won ...so that's good...the atmosphere was good because it was a close game..this could only help with the recruits on hand..they have to be impress....on the other hand i thought watson really held back on the play calling..too conservative today...we ran the ball alot for alot of yards but didn't have that many points to show for it..this actually helps cu because it shorten up the game. i don't think cu want to get into an offensive shootout with nu...what's with the red zone playcalling? throw the freakin' ball!!..we got lucky because the offensive play calling sucked today
  6. wtf is watson doing?...why are they so afraid to throw the ball when they get in the red zone..they continue to call the same play over and over again...i don't care if you hold the ball forever...if you don't score then it don't mean sh#t
  7. wrong place wrong time..wrong...on the other hand the cop who that cited him knew who he was ( being a football player and all) and approached him and ask for his id then asked him to do a breathalizer....i could see if josh was causing trouble but he wasn't... it was the cop who approached him ( sounds like a d#ck looking for trouble to me)...josh probably had a beer or two which he shouldn't have been doing but let's face it most college kids drink....point is if you're looking for dirt you're gonna find it...anybody...this is not to say that josh didn't mess up..he did
  8. don't know about everybody else but i just hate cu...the cockiness of their fan only add fuel to the fire...that right there makes them a rival to me...i mean we don't play ou every year anymore....hate alone makes them a rival...isn't that what makes most rivalries?...don't know why some people have a problem with that...
  9. that's the thing...in all of those games that i mention, nu moved the ball up and down the field on them but failed to put the game away early...they were always a fumble or a penalty or a dropped pass away from blowing the game wide open...nu would move the ball against cu..no doubt , but it's the mistakes that i worry would keep cu hanging around...
  10. ..lol...i remember back in the 90's when nu was playing cu in boulder....the nu kicker was getting pelted with snow balls as he was trying to kick the field goal....somehow the laser thing doesn't surprise me at all
  11. on paper it looks like we'll beat cu but the one thing that worries me is nu's inability to put their opponent away until late in the game...you look at the baylor, iowa st., kansas, and kansas st. games and it seems like we have the opportunity to put the game away early but we just kept letting teams hang around
  12. so who's most likely to committ out of this group?..any guess?..
  13. sounds like we're gator bowl bound as long as we beat cu....most likely opponent?..fsu..assuming they take care of bussiness....i think this would be a great match up for nu...fsu have a good defense but their offense is kinda shaky....they got talents at the skill positions but to be honest their qb makes way too many mistakes....would be a tough test but a winnable game
  14. if the gator bowl committee chooses notre dame they're a bunch of morons...not just because of their record but because they are a really, i mean really bad team...
  15. michigan has talent right now just not the right pieces of the puzzle to make that offense click...i f you look at their skill positions there's talent...they just do not have the type of qb to operate in that offense....they always have a good recruiting class every year..the players also need to get more familiar with the new offense...
  16. i honestly don't know of any school that travels better than nu..as good maybe , but better?..no one really
  17. shoot! some of those mac teams (ball st., western michigan) are much better than notre dame..if ball st. was to play notre dame i would put my money on ball st....there's nothing behind notre dame other than the name and past glory....
  18. think the gator bowl still wants them?....up next ..usc..lol...just don't understand the media's infatuation with notre dame...can't believe the gator bowl would consider a BAD, and i mean BAD, notre dame team with more losses over us....nu would put a whooping on notre dame if they were to play today....they ( the media) can bring up tradition and all that but we have as much tradition as notre dame....and our fans travel better...remember when nu fans invaded notre dame stadium when we played them there?....they (nu fans ) basically ran the notre dame fan out of their own stadium ...just don't understand how the gator bowl reps would think that notre dame would travel better....
  19. that's pretty funny But I hope this kid sees that wherever he goes, there's always going to be competition he's looking for a school that has NO linebacker on their roster...that way the starting job is his and he'd have no competion ....there should be plenty of school that fits that requirement...good luck
  20. we don't want a guy that doesn't want to compete anyway...the guy expect things to be handed to him....i can guaranteed you that bo pelini will have none of it...this staff have shown that if you''re willing to work hard , compete , and do what they ask of you, they will play you...they don't care who you are or where you come from
  21. gator bowl would be great but sounds like nu is the second choice after notre dame....if they don't want us then they can have a notre dame team that just got their asses handed to them by usc...alamo bowl and the sun bowl wouldn't mind having us....
  22. sounded like he ( castille) played pretty good against ksu...heard he had a couple vicious hit on the ksu db... i know we've been pretty hard on him the last couple weeks but gotta give the man props when he's doing well
  23. what an awful color combination....
  24. think the hit was so violent that it gave freeman a whip lash and that's probably what the ref saw leading to think that it was a helmet to helmet....good hit bad called..
