Not to mention, anyone ever notice when Martinez is throwing, unless it's a long ball every pass is thrown differently. His motion is never the same for any pass. You get the submarine throw, the sidearm throw and an occasional overhand throw.

??? He threw 6 passes. Beck isn't trying to pass it too much, and he's not "going away from what's working" because NOTHING is working. We were running right up the gut and gaining yards, then Beck decided to try and get tricky. We started running up the gut again with Burkhead at the end and ran for a first down, then comes the pass to the sure handed Kinnie. Start going back to power run, then stopping it and trying to pass. Seems like our last coordinator seemed to do the same f'n thing. We need to start powering over their O-line and wear them down and then it all opens up as long as we don't let Martinez throw anything longer than 5 yards.

Man, other than Rex, the offense is playing like complete garbage. Beck's going back to stop doing what was working and try to pass with one of the leagues worst passing QB's. That slow motion they showed of Martinez throwing was just pathetic. It's absolutely painful to watch him throw the ball.

badger, thanks for posting that and it seems like they are trying to do something about it. I'm sure Tom spoke to Barry about it and he agreed that something needed to be done. Unfortunately, I doubt there will be anyone going to that bowl game though. Students will be students and nothing is going to stop them. It's definitely worth a shot.

Bromontana, the difference being we've actually won something, and it's really the only thing that really matters. You keep talking like your Badgers have won something other than an NT. I thought the object of every team was to win National Titles, not sit back and say, "well we've been to a bowl game that had absolutely jack squat with a national title". Again, this goes back to what Tom was saying and you're making yourself look as if you're the exact type of person he's talking to. We've been there, so most of us understand what it means to act like we've been there as fans. In fact, we've been there more than 5 times(but only won those 5), and been there IN the last decade unlike some other squads that I really don't need to mention.

Sorry BRI, nothing would make this loss look any better. Our boys quit in the second quarter and embarrassed the fans, their coaches, and most importantly themselves. All but maybe 3 kids that played should hang their heads in shame.
