I kind of doubt it since he's already done it once and nothing has been levied against Miami yet. Who knows - this may be a special enough circumstance. But, would anyone want him, he's bad luck. ;-)

I wonder what this means for players who transferred to other schools, such as the Brown brothers from Kansas, who were both mentioned somewhere along the lines. Both transferred out of their respective schools back to Kansas State. As much as I bag on KSU, I have to feel bad for them in this situation because it looks like if they played, it might bring them some violations. (taking a shower now since I feel so dirty after that).

The sound cut in/out when they did Wisconsin's the other day, too. I haven't yet watched the MN one from the DVR, but in at least one other one, it did that.

I belong to a college football discussion group on Facebook, but haven't been on it much lately. When I did come back to it a couple of days ago, Miami fans had somehow just come out of the woodwork and every post was about The U. Now, after this story has been breaking, barely hearing a peep from these idiots.

Boy I love all the "I knew what was gonna happen" people. Gotta love the hopeful optimism of some folks, but to me it was a no-brainer. If he had been taken lower, or to a different team, then I would have been more on the fence about what an 18 year old "kid" was going to do with his life.

That was also going to be a question - who initiated this sudden outrage and what is their stake in all of this name/mascot change business?
