  1. Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight Edited by Rawhide
  2. If you have an issue .. please contact and Admin. Any further posts of this nature will be deleted. Sounds like you have a problem- I'm just stating an opinion
  3. Why is this team that almost lost to Colorado at home suddenly a juggernaut of hindsight? Because this coach is going to see to it that "almost lost" when having things go wrong even when you are clearly the better team, will be the worst case outcome in that type of game next year. If you are honest, Frank or Callahan never gave you that "feeling" If we're being honest, Frank Solich coached a couple good but not great Husker teams to the verge of National Championships, and Callahan's second team took Colorado behind the woodshed for a beating in Boulder, and followed up by coming from behind and beating a better Michigan team in its bowl game. Perspective, grasshopper. Bingo! How about Solich going up against Stoops when I believe the rankings were #1 and #2 and pulling out the win. How many years did TO go in with as good or better team only to lose to Switzer? Notre dumb had like a 9 bowl game losing streak going. We weren't that far behind with TO at the helm. I remember just thinking each and everytime we went to a bowl we were about to get exposed. It's all about history and perspective. How about this perspective I wouldn't want you picking a Coach- Look there are plenty of coaches out there that are good and can win 8,9, 10 games a year- but Callahan and Solich weren't going to lead us back to a national championship- at least if you were HONEST with yourselves you'd be able to see that Bo just may have do it. Bo has what Solich and Callahan didn't have-leadership, charisma, and the ability to make other believe in what you say. TO, to a certain point had all those things, but back then football was a completely different deal. we had prop 48's and big 8 rules- even TO knew the big12 would be a bad thing for NU. Solich wasn't going to do anything except win a big game or two here and there. Callahan was a fraud so by bringing him into the conversation you lost all credibility from the "honest" perspective- although you have a right to be delusional which is another "perpective" and a less harsh way to sum up your perpectives
  4. oh he'll be first string next year due to the fact that he will finally "get" this complicated offense, and because of his NFL body he will leave breaking all the single season recieving records. I'll predict he'll be a high first round pick. Most people know this about him. (Since this place is Pedia-Illustrated, I wanted to give you all want you want -crave for)
  5. Yea, always. They said the earth was round back in the day and I, for one, still don't believe that sh^t(per & post posterious).. Evolution is similarly perposterious since every educated person knows that the earth was created 4000 years ago just like it says in the Bible. Also, the lunar launch and landing was completely staged in Hollywood as it has now been postposteriously shown. thank you
  6. ok so i don't spell check..I figure I have guys like you for that. Question: If something is considered perposterious now, is it postposterious later on?
  7. Ya, you can use and example without having to be condescending. Basically, what your posts said to me was "I make $200,000 a year, but you don't know what that's like, so let me use an example you poor people can understand." My smart a** response was only in response to other smart a** responses to the original question. And it was only a question, not a statement. Last I checked this is a FORUM. to quote ashock jock radio personallity "I told you to stop being stupid you moron"
  8. why are people even commenting on this insane thread? I call BS on the guy who says he makes $200M and then proceeds post a premise that could only be appreciated by people incarcerated for plagiarizing sponge bob quotes. Then to make matters worse, an insult is thrown out to all plumbers of the world, because if this guy makes 200M per year, based on this one thread, my plumber deserves $500M
  9. HE GOT DEMOTED TO A CAPTAIN Clone, that's rich, Captain Culbert, his parents should have considered it, sounds better than Major
  10. My previuos answer didn't do this question justice. Let's break it down. By offer, one usually means to give, or in this giving season, you probably meant to say "gift". Speed? well I know that to a snail, a turtle is fast so, therefore you could postulate that the big 12 and Clemson have turtle-like speed. Ready? in promptu esse is the latin phrase for ready, and another latin phrase "puga pyga" comes close to the area of the body that this subject was drawn from. So there we have it: A gift of the turtle is offered up from the puga pyga. GBR! C'MON, I no comprendo la Latin! If you haven't googled it, Puga pyga is latin for buttocks, some people here, maybe rkhufu7 might consider me to be a magnus puga pyga, but I'm still going to make "light" of stupidus threads
  11. At least you see the humor in some of it, I actually posted the subject line as a "goof" because it was put up on another board as a serious premise. I thought I made that point clear, but I guess this is a "football" related board so being pragmatic about it obviously didn't work. Does Huskerboard have an "Examples of Insane Ideas, and Negative IQ's" board? If so, I would have started this thread there
  12. I'm normally not one to gossip, but if you google "rivals" and the words husker or illustrated, and if you like to laugh at knuckle- dragging, mouth breathers, that place is a gold mine of nonsense

  14. Did you read that on HuskerPedia? if so, it wouldn't surprise me in the least. could be, wink wink.. but the other sight is as bad, or if its at all possible dumber- I say they both equal Dumb and Dumberer
  15. Ouch. But no way we should start them. They are good and all but it's the seniors last game Do I detect a hint of SARCASM? NEXT!
  16. See "start witt , paul, holt" topic
  17. I'll take that as a yes vote on the original subject line. NEXT
  18. I kid you not, this was almost an exact quote from another board (not exact because that'd be against this boards rules)- and they were serious. The whole thread basically dealt with that premise without somebody calling the original poster an idiot. I know we all want to make nice here, but I've seen a few posts here that come close to this kind of mind-poop. I also know that if this were a paid sight those people would be verbally ball-socked till their nads were reduced to semen jelly. Could this place be somewhere in the middle?
  19. Ok enough of this west coast offense is too complicated shite First, please slow down and use proper language skills, Second, Callahan and his 10 pound playbook are gone. Third, please tell us, what is your man-love with Dez Bryant all about and why would you want to compare him to anyone on our team? Fourth, if you follow the first suggestion you won't have to double post the same premise
  20. I have a flask that I jam down the back of my pants- If someone wants to search there then I say good luck to them
  21. our ends don't penetrate enough to stop the option, and we don't really have a true WILL, most of our safeties are not good one on one tacklers, so look at the perimeter as a weakeness- I think if someone charted the run plays against us, you'd find the average outside the tackles is much higher than between. A team that can run the option as part of an over all package is something we don't want. I think BO could draw up a defense to stop say a Georgia Tech, but its harder to stop something you may only see 5-6 times a game when it plays to an over-all team weakness. (and when the other team has the backs to do it) I don't know much about their QB but lets hope he's not too fast
  22. are you the same old school who posted on huskerpowerhour?
  23. Why is this team that almost lost to Colorado at home suddenly a juggernaut of hindsight? 24. another perspective is we won 8 games, could have, and possibly should have, won another game or two, have shown the will and ability to come back in the second half of games, are getting a good recruiting class together, didn't burn many redshirts, and have a coach that most people like, and think will improve as seasons go on.
