Colorado is much improved and it’s still a long season also. BUT the BIG difference is Deion wiped out everything that didn’t match the direction he wanted to go and rhule tried to fix our trash and it turned out to be trash again for the most part. We are more spirited but we lack real dudes in critical positions -

Or….. it’s his biggest traditional rival scheduled and from a time period where he actually understood when the two teams were at their peak within the rivalry. Or should the guy drum up interest with teams that he’ll no longer have a tie to after next season lol -

Usually OL coaches are tied to certain coaches and schemes. Kinda hard to judge a man who was brought on to a sinking ship. I say give the man a clean slate and see how he develops the younger players- 230 replies

This whole rhule vs sanders debate has been a case study on fandom. The nature of college sports with the transfer portal and NIL all these things are happening the same way at every school. Just like frost used to “help players find a better situation”. Don’t let coach speak fool you they are all operating the same way business first. -

There is no exact science to program building some schools rarely figure it out and most schools even the ones that have won championships turnover the whole program within a decade. I’d still be surprised if they made a bowl but seeing that team play in real time there wasn’t enough to keep that roster intact. Plus he’s bringing in upperclassmen so that’ll leave room for recruiting going forward -

Of course we can do better. But let’s be honest how often have we. Yes his numbers tanked just like grant when we started playing more capable defensive lines. -
You mean the same time that LSU Auburn and Florida won national championships lol. I think the people on this board only have local channels or something
-
No it’s just the fact that it’s Missouri and probably everything they can ask for. What would encourage them to leave with that resume
-
They’ve been to 6 bowls and won the SEC east twice in 10 years. I think they are ok
-
Minnesota?! I’ll give you penn state when it comes to moving the needle but come on now. If Michigan falls off a cliff what’s gonna be there story when it comes to the last 50 years of football? One of the Top 5 things in their story will be the loss to app state. I never said they didn’t belong just that Ohio state is carrying and has carried the weight of the conference.
-
You have to be drinking because your merging my thought and your opinion. My thought is the SEC has a good amount of program and player development. Your opinion that I believe we had the talent or capability as a program to compete now. Idk what you want to be if you scared to play the best and compare us to Missouri and A&M. Of course we’d take our lumps but in hindsight I’d rather the resources of the SEC and the natural rivalries that would exist for us
-
Ohio state is carrying the weight of the entire conference. Crazy talk is basing an entire conferences credibility off of one teams accomplishments. Which conference would have more natiural rivalries that our fan base can get behind? Thank goodness we play that Iowa in game that nobody pays attention to once a year right
-
The Big 10 feels exactly like the Big 12. People keep saying oh the the national championship could’ve been two Big 10 teams but the problem isn’t making the dance and having a chance it’s the fact that the league doesn’t prepare teams to make noise once they are in. The level of play needed to win the conference compared to beating the best of the best is not comparable. IMO in hindsight the SEC would’ve fit us better from an identity standpoint and grooming our players on what it takes to really be successful at that level
