  1. How about yall take Scar, we take Iowa, we're kind of tired of beating Scar, plus it'll be an easy victory for you guys. They're having academic casualties like no other.
  2. What do you mean 'what is the problem with our 2 teams'? We beat them handily nearly every year, they continue to talk crap. They hate us cause we're constantly beating them, we hate them because they can't take a loss and shut the hell up. For historical facts on why the two schools hate each other, please refer to the 'Getting to know your opponent' thread started by yours truly to read about the initial brawl in the early 1900's that started it all.
  3. Exactly, the Clemson fans have been gracious and respectful for which I'll thank them for. And you Huskers have been very hospitable, which is very appreciated.
  4. i dont think thats very likely, the WEZ project actually slightly reduced the number of seats in the valley Actually the WEZ project didn't hurt as much as them deciding not to count the hill tix anymore.
  5. That's a really cool tradition. I like this. It is cool, but then you have a lot of ignorant people that don't believe that a $2 bill exists, and they hassle you about using it.
  6. Sounds awesome. I got the privilege to run down the hill with the team for 2 years. We would get off the buses, and there would be people lined up outside of the stadium hitting each player as they walked by. Actually one time, a guy was hitting the players on their helmets and I guess was in rhythm and he hit me in the head as I went by, hurt like hell. He definitely had a ring on. I remember thinking that it wasn't all that loud, but then when you walk under the scoreboard it was like walking into a wall of 120 decibels hitting you square in the face. Awesome feeling. Then it was time to rub the rock and head down the hill (which I'm proud to say that I never fell down, but had a few close calls). I always seemed to time it right and be running through the band while the crowd was at the spelling of Clemson in Tiger Rag. That may not seem like much to you Huskers, but it's an amazing rush for a Tiger like myself. I'm sure it is a rush. I love sitting in front of the computer watching video clips on youtube of various teams entrances, cheers, etc. Me too. Glad I'm not the only weird one.

  8. That photo shows a lot about the 'rivalry'. Please note the number of shamecocks on the ground compared to the number of Tigers on the ground. 'nuff said.
  9. I love flyovers, we had one a few years ago at a night game, and the planes were so low that it seemed as though they just cleared the lights. AWESOME!!! They turned those boosters on and you could see the flames come out of the plane.
  10. That's how we talk, we don't do it on purpose. If I were a cute little southern belle, I guarantee you saying yall wouldn't both you at all...
  11. Unfortunately if fans wear that shirt, it will give the rest of the nation the impression that we think that is actually what the game is called and how it is spelled. Even more unfortunate is the fact that there probably ARE fans that think this is actually what the game is called and how it is spelled. Probably just the fans from the state of S.Carolina would be confused by this..... I get it.
  12. That's good. They're very overrated. We will send you the Shamecocks if you guys want one to dominate. It's getting old to us...
  13. Well he said it was his freshman year, so I think it was Devaney.
  14. Iowa doesn't want to play us. Byrne, and Pederson have tried getting an annual lined up agaist Iowa but they want nothing to do with playing us. Why? I don't know. Probably cause they're in the soft Big 10 (Eleven)
  15. Honestly, I don't know enough about him to give you a good answer, sorry.
  16. http://www.rolltide.com/sports/m-footbl/mt...s_burton00.html Coach Burns used to coach at Clemson and we would love to get him and other coaches to tell us stories about their playing days. Coach Burns is from New Orleans, and played at Nebraska. He started playing for Bob Devaney (I believe) and ended his career with Tom Osbourne. He told us a story one day of how when he went to Nebraska, there was a rule that stated that freshman couldn't play (as seen in "We Are Marshall"), and because of this, he had seldom interactions with the head coach. He was a fullback and missed a block, and apparently he missed it pretty badly. He said the head coach turned to him and said "you do that again, and I'm sending your a$$ back to New Orleans." Coach Burns said that moment was his favorite moment as a freshman, because that's when he knew that the head coach knew who he was. Anyway, I know the story isn't near as good coming from me, but I thought that it was pretty funny when he told it about how happy he was that he was known...
  17. We don't have much of an offensive line, but 28 is still capable of making plays... For example, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJGfoudDm38 Like I said earlier, if yall can keep him contained, we're in trouble. But in the open field, you don't want any of him.
  18. WOW. First time I have watched those videos, and I must say that I agree, that music is terrible... Try this video though, no gameplay, but pretty cool video with the whole 'running down the hill' experience, from locker room (at least the old locker room) to the field. Wish they'd update this though.
  19. We have faced the fact that we probably won't be able to steal recruits from across the nation, so we stick to the southeast where we feel that we'll have a better chance...
  20. Man, you guys do take things seriously in that rivalry (well, I suppose rivarly is not the proper term, but you know what I mean)... I was on the field for this game. I was a little scared. How come the biggest guys out there got to wear the most padding and helmets? Just not fair for us 'regular people.'
