Dynasty Up...Invites Out...We are ready to roll!

I am gonna try and get the invites out this weekend....

It runs just like a normal dynasty, we do recruit against each other and all of us playing in one conference will definitely make things interesting. In this dynasty (unless something changes) you will have one week to do your recruiting and play your game. If you are playing a human controlled team, you will have to message that player and schedule a time to play each other. Other than that, you obviously cannot restart game. If you do restart a game, a nice little icon appears and we all get to ridicule you. It is really a great time and I think that you will enjoy it, especially if you enjoy playing dynasty on your own.

Okay so I have.... Husker B - Arizona acknowlton(Husker Nono) - UCLA Double 0 Debo(tburhman67) - Cal Boomwrangler - Oregon State Tputz - ???? gSt RutRow - ???? BigHoseph (Huge Husker) - Oregon I am thinking we will start sometime this week and add others as they come in. 5 min quarters and All-American. We will try to advance once at least week and I am always 100% open to suggestions. Sound good guys? PS. - If your gamertag is not the same as your name here let me know ASAP so I can get everyone added in correctly!

Yea we would all have to play each other during the regular season which really slows things down. If you guys want to simply select teams from around the country I am okay with that too....just let me know. I am not in any big hurry.

Don't kid yourself, VT has a great QB and a stable of running backs that will shoulder this loss. This is the kind of program that can absorb a tough loss like this.

Absolutely terrible, I really hope this guy bucks the trend and comes back at 110%. Good luck for a speedy recovery.

That's what I see them doing with LaTravis this year, too. He's SOOOO athletic. He'd knock some LBs down if they didn't wrap him up. Imagine the Option with ZLee and LaTravis in the backfield. Lee pitches the ball, and LaTravis throws over the defense.... TD, KYLER REED!!!! For what Green is supposed to bring to the table, I think we have that in spades with ZLee and Spano, and they've both been in the system longer. For pure raw athleticism we have LaTravis. As many guys as Bo redshirted last year, I would be very surprised to see Green play at all. Think of Cody Green in the role of Robert Griffin on the Scout Team, though. He'd be ideal training for the Blackshirts. I completely agree, I think we have the tools/talent for this year....Let's get as much playing time out of this kid as we can! Instead of having a true Junior after Lee graduates, imaging an experienced and very talented redshirt sophmore leading the team into 2011.

OK, gloves are coming off Cy! Tired of you making jokes about KU's non con schedule. You're quick to point out how Ark St. could be a tough game, and "I wouldn't underestimate FLA Atl". But when it comes to KU's non conference schedule, you're quick to point out how bad it is. Cy, do you realize that both Duke and Southern Miss would beat Iowa State? And did you even bother to notice that Southern Miss. has finished with a winning record the last 4 seasons and won their bowl games last year?? And that Duke is a much improved team? Or does your hatred for KU not allow you to go there? Any Big XII North team critiquing another teams "weak" schedule would be very hypocritical. Every team is playing one name opponent and three other mid-level teams. That said....I love watching a good slap-fight, so fire away!

I too would like to see more recruits, but from what I understand is that we are not going to get anywhere close to giving 25 scholies this year. After the poor scholarship management in the previous regime, we only have 15-18 positions available. Under the assumption that we have offers out to 2x-3x that many quality players, I am confident that we will fill up our needs. That said, if this becomes a trend of falling massively behind the rest of the competition I will begin to worry. But for the time being, I am happy with the progress being made and GO BIG RED!

Depends on the Situation..... For family night, or a nice dinner beer you have to enjoy Lincoln's own..... If I am out with the guys and we are binge drinking......

Fine with me....I would be up for a Pac 10 dynasty if anyone else wants in. But like I said I would be up for us all picking a team we are invested in, and playing out the season without being in the same conference too.

I think people can take who ever they want, however if you pick Florida or USC we all might make fun of you.....

Level of play? Time of quarters? What teams do you want? Anything else I might not have thought of.....

I am sorry but I fail to see how this is an issue. He supports a school that he used to work for, I am sure that if Nebraska was there he would have been cheering "GO BIG RED!" On the flip side however, with your ability to sensationalize a story you might have a future in the news!

I am completely open to suggestion on this, but I would really like to relive the glory undergrad days and get a nice long dynasty going....any takers?
