I hate to admit it, but I agreed with Mussberger and Danielsen...I just don't understand the 3 man rush on Pitt's last drive! It just didn't seem to make sense since we were only up by 1 point. It seemed like we were basically giving them a shot at a field goal to win the game! Did anyone agree with the 3 man rush?

Why would Wagner let out that we were going to use Stuntz in a trick play the day before the game?!!! I'm sure that got out to Pitt. Makes no sense to me! Anyone feel the same way? Just curious. I like Wagner, but I think he needs to keep his mouth shut a little more. With our offensive line problems, it seems Wagner should spend more time working out the bugs and less time giving away our game plan.

I've been seeing this a lot...people are using Mack Brown as an example of why we will not win a national championship because he has all the talent but doesn't win. This always strikes me as an idiotic argument for Husker fans because didn't it take the greatest coach ever (TO) awhile to win the big one and win the championship? Mack Brown is 2-5 in his first 7 years at Texas against Oklahoma. TO was 1-6 in his first 7 years. Mack Brown has been putting a beating on NU since he took over. He took a crappy team (5-6) and in his first year went 9-3. It wasn't Mack Brown who called one more play on 3rd down with a chance to go to overtime at home against arguably the best secondary in college with no timeouts left. Mack Brown has the second longest bowl streak, second best winning percentage in the last 9 years and the second most consecutive winning seasons in the NCAA. Not to mention he went 11-1 last year and won the Rose Bowl! If anything you can make a better argument that NU will be more successful by looking at what Mack has done with his talent at Texas. If a crappy coach can go 11-1, why can't NU do the same or better? The Gimp has spoken.

Underrated: Scott Frost - I was at NU while Frost was QB. He never got the respect he deserved after the loss to Arizona State. Overrated: Harrison Beck - I think in 2-3 years he could be a great QB, but the expectations and the hype are way too high right now for a 17 year old kid who has never taken a snap at the college level. I like the post for Matt Turman as underrated! By the time Turman would come into a game I was usually three sheets to the wind and I would go nuts for the "Turman"ator shot on Husker Vision. Very funny Hoyamann... This coming from a guy who was hunched over outside of Ameristar casino last month puking his guts out after about 3 beers! I have pictures if anyone is interested There are 3 Husker bars in Chicago. You need to show up an hour or two before game time to get a seat. They have a bloody mary bar, waitresses sometimes where husker shirts (I tip the ones that do better) and they play the fight song really loud when we score. Last year they put up probably 10 new plasmas and they have a giant big screen. If it's an 11 am game, I recommend getting there around 9:45-10 and ordering their huge breakfast plate and a beer. The Gimp also lives in Chicago...Giordanos is good, but there are much better places. I prefer Rizata's, Amato's, or Gino's East. Lou Malnatis is also awesome but a little different style then the rest of them. Only thing that sucks about Chicago is no Papa Johns in the city. I miss that butter garlic dip big time! And I'll stick up for Old Chicago in Lincoln. I don't think they ever have claimed to serve authentic Chicago Style Pizza. It's still a cool place with good pizza and a ton of beers. No worries... We still have Hardy and Brooks coming in! Those 2 guys are going to be studs and probably will be playing on Sundays someday! I come in for a few games every year with my girl and we stay with Hoyamann. I would recommend his place. It's free. He has a play station 2 and usually a full fridge of beer! Ok, this was almost as dumb as the guy who posted the Bulls. There are two types of people in this world, people who hate Notre Dame and the people who went to Notre Dame. I would estimate that 90% of people in the state of Indiana hate Notre Dame (IU and Purdue fans). There is no team that means more to a state as much as Husker football in Nebraska. The Bulls??? I cannot believe someone compared the Bulls to the Huskers. That was about the dumbest post I have ever read. I live in Illinois and can tell you that no one cares about the Bulls in Illinois. We are fair weather fans when it comes to pro basketball. The Bulls are not even the most talked about basketball team in the state right now (UofI basketball). You could have made a decent argument for the Cubs. Tickets went on sale Friday and that was insane. They jacked up the prices and still sold out. I got bleacher tickets for 8 games including cubs white sox! The Gimp has spoken.
