  1. It's not all that crazy. It's more realistic than believing he will get 1500 yards. He'd be the first in Lincoln since Ahman Green. But I think he does at least get 1000 if he's stays healthy. Like HuskerNationNick pointed out......the 1st 5 games are in Lincoln and the next two games are vs Purdue & Minnesota.....UCLA's rushing defense ranked #70 last season, but I think they'll be much better this year as their players were young and they have a great staff, but other than that, no chance of any of the other defenses keeping NU from doing much. We will have one of the most high powered offenses in the nation, IMO. Here's the kicker to my though process in regards to playing these "weaker" teams. We get the game in control at the mid stages with a more balanced attack, and then utilize the depth and get younger players work in the late stages with the game in hand. The way I expect the offense to operate, I wont be surprise to see Ameer calling it a day with only 50-75 yards rushing. Now, this is rushing yards. I fully expect to see his athleticism utilized more in the pass game if the Oline can show improvement enough to handle pass pro exclusively. I totally agree. I think he could easily have 100 yards by the half in the first few games though. But otherwise yes, we have such a favorable schedule, it's the perfect year to get our young backs up to speed with the game without taking away from our production on the field too much. Only issue I see as far as Ameer's production over all is if one of the guys behind him show themselves to be a hell of a player. That's a great issue to have though.
  2. I went back and looked at the stats and notice the list I was looking at had them in order of rushing yards given up for the season. Stats can be manipulated in any way to support any person's opinion so I'll just leave it as, if you look at the match ups vs each team, NU put up over 200 yards (over 300 vs MSU) against each of those teams. Is that a result of a great rushing attack or the fact that their match ups where as they held a team under their average was a team that didn't utilize the rushing attack nearly as much as they depended on the passing. http://rivals.yahoo....A_all&year=2012 Rushing YPG can be manipulated in many ways?! Are you kidding me dude? Its as simple as it sounds. Its the average number of yards allowed in rushing throughout your whole season, just not sure how that can be manipulated. I stated that most of our games were against top 25 rush defenses and YOU argued the fact that we didn't. When someone disagrees with you, its them arguing with you, but what the hell are you doing when you try to belittle everyone's post? #8 Michigan St faced these top 25 teams in rushing offense, and still remained #8 in rush defense- #8 Nebraska #10 Ohio State #13 Wisconsin #19 Northwestern Just not sure how their rush defense can be manipulated when they faced such great rushing teams. Same goes for the rest of those teams mentioned above. I guess everyone in the top 25 rush defense's stats aren't really that good and are just manipulated too. Abdullah ran a 4.3X coming out of high school. He has gained weight since and he is still a low 4.4, and he is a LOT faster than Rex. His 40 is faster, and his top end speed is faster. I could care less what Abdullah ends with, since I have said that he will not be our only person getting the rock. What does any previous RB's have to do with 2013, and Ameer Abdullah? I am just unsure what the hell you are trying to argue about here. Here we go again with the comprehension issue. I said stats can be manipulated to fit a persons opinion. Not rushing YPG.....in other words I was simply showing you how I had a different perception based on the list I had viewed. They had teams in order of the TOTAL rushing yards allowed by the defense, thus, for example, Wisconsin was ranked #30. But if you go by the YPG in which you pointed out, it had Wisconsin at #13 I believe. Damn bro, read my post and understand it before you get to mouthing off. I was agreeing with your post once I looked at the list......And no where did I belittle you post, don't be so emotional. -Now here's where your credibility in your argument falls off.....Ameer Abdullah NEVER ran a 4.3 or close to it. You show me where it's recorded that he runs a 4.3. There was a journalist (Eric Olson I believe) who stated the same thing and was called on it. One of the reasons he wasn't offered at Bama was his speed. Why would they offer a kid who runs a 4.43 (Demetrius Hart) over a kid who runs a 4.3? And Rex Burkhead came out high running 4.46 official. Ameer Abdullah 4.51 official. So with his weight gain how would he be a low 4.4. And how do you know what AA's top end speed is, let alone if it's faster than Rex's. Both have been run down by LBs/DBs. I see the point you are trying to make but your statement is false. -And it seems as though you either really have a problem understanding my references or you purposely act like you don't understand them because they go against your claims.....I mentioned previous backs, mainly 3 of our best backs in history were the only ones to eclipse 1500 yards in a season to point out that it is not an easy task, also to point out that just because a RB doesn't get to 1500 yards, doesn't mean he didn't have a good season. No one is claiming Roy Helu's Sr. season a dud....he ran for 1200+ yards. What about Rex's Jr. season where as he was the workhorse. He finished that season with 1400 yards. I mean damn man, do you just love to argue or just need attention. We practically said the same thing, just had different reasons for why we came to the conclusion. I'm kind of lost on why you are still trying to debate with me. You don't agree with my reasoning, fine......but you're not even arguing my reasoning....you're arguing a totally different subject.
  3. It doesn't really that I said "even if we didn't have quality depth" because I'm still giving the same answer as others, but since you love to debate then I'll give you the attention. -If one or two of the back ups turn out to be studs.....they will get more carries thus keeping AA from getting the carries he need to get there. -If all of them turn out to be duds, AA will be the only quality back. I highly doubt that will cause Beck to give him more carries because we don't want him to sustain an injury, and also, there's still Turner/Bell/Eunuwa/Westerkamp/etc.... -I see you are ignoring the fact that only 3 guys in our history has eclipsed that # in a season. It's not like AA has shown more than the next guy that he could be that guy to do so even with the talented receiving corps. -How many guys have run for that amount of yards running a 4.5 40?.........not many if any....AA isn't much faster than Rex. I mean really.......if I was a better man, I would happily place a wager that Ameer doesn't exceed anymore than 1300 yards this season. That's not a bad year. It's actually a damn good year, in this system. Okay.....you gave the reason why you don't see him getting it, I gave my reason. So, what......we both still said the same thing. But if you still feel the need to argue be my guess.

  5. The attitude of the program at the end of the 07 season was nothing to wish on any great program. bullsh#t. Bama. Florida. Miami. Ohio St. USC. Notre Dame, and Texas x100000000. touche
  6. I think you're kidding...wait, are you kidding? meh. it could happen. I'll set a reminder to start a possible "gameday for miami?" thread when the time comes. You can call it....."It's All About The Who"...........
  7. It's not all that crazy. It's more realistic than believing he will get 1500 yards. He'd be the first in Lincoln since Ahman Green. But I think he does at least get 1000 if he's stays healthy. We will have one of the most high powered offenses in the nation, IMO.
  8. I am not sure how you don't see Abdullah breaking 1500 if he was our only quality RB. I think if he was the only person to feed the ball to, he would easily break it IMO, because of our schedule strength, and for the fact that he was over 1100 yards with Rex being the starter when he was healthy. Had Rex not been healthy, he would have been VERY close last year with most of our games being against top 25 rush defenses. Then you state you see him getting 1200-1300 this season, with sharing the ball, but he couldn't get an extra 200-300 if he wasn't? As been stated already, even if he was our only quality RB.....there is still other factors to our game that you have to consider........Like the fact that Martinez will get his yards on the ground. Also, we have the most talented group of WRs that NU has seen in a long time, or arguably ever. And you make it seem like Rex took a good deal of the season from Ameer.........Rex ran 3 plays in the first game and was out until the Idaho St game where he rushed 8 times. The next game and the Bowl game are the only times he rushed around 20 attempts. Ameer was the feature back this year. And what Husker schedule was you looking at? Most of our teams we faced were top 25 rushing defenses.......I count two. Michigan St #7 & Northwestern #19...........Wisconsin was #30, Michigan #55, Iowa #62, UCLA #70........shall I keep going.....c'mon don't drag it out. It's not a knock on Ameer. He's a good back and he will be successful this year. 1500 yards is not an easy task for most backs. As I pointed out only 3 of our backs have done that in NU's history (Rozier twice). I didn't say anything that takes a rocket scientist to understand. And it's nothing different from what other posters have stated in this thread already, yet, you choose to rebuttal my post........????. Oh, well. Now this year we will see a more favorable schedule, especially when looking at the defenses, but as stated before, there are other weapons in our offense that will come forth on Saturdays as well as some promises that was made to two young backs coming in along with Cross/Frazier trying to make a case for themselves. But regardless if none of the other guys at the position pan out and Ameer stays healthy, Beck is not going to throw the load on Ameer, because Beck likes for the offense to be able to move the ball through the air, Ameer still has a problem with fumbles, and our QB is just as dangerous as any on the ground.
  9. If the players aren't ready, why force them in the game. We depended on Rex was that last back to come in right away, fit to back up an experienced back. That was 09. Since then we've had guys like Dontravious Robinson (came in the same years as Rex), Braylon Heard in 2010 (didn't play til the following season due to qualification), Aaron Green (5* back), Ameer Abdullah (3* ATH), & Imani Cross. Along with a few walk ons. None of those guys showed anything that warranted them to receive more carries. They were talented but there's more to playing RB than taking the hand off and running. (In that case, Braylon Heard would have stepped in before Ameer) Especially in 2011 when the top priority was to protect the QB whom we had NOBODY to replace him if he was to go down with injury. I trust the staff knows what they are doing even if I don't understand and/or agree with what they are doing.
  10. 1997 Ahman Green. An amazing stat that I didn't realize til someone pointed it out to me, in NU's history only 4 guys have run for more than 1500 yards in a season: Mike Rozier 2,148 yards in '83/Ahman Green 1,877 yards in '97/Lawrence Phillips 1,722 yards in '94/Mike Rozier 1,689 yards in '82. Ken Clark was 3 yards from eclipsing 1500 back in '88. But it's not the norm for NU with the way we utilize our depth at the position. Ameer is a good back but no the caliber back those 3 guys are so I don't see him doing that even if we had no quality depth behind him. Truthfully you don't have to have 1500 yards to have a successful year. Every year around 10 backs in college football run for 1500 yards. Half of them are usually from non AQ conferences where they don't face the caliber of athletes consistently in conference that they top programs face, the others are usually the best RBs in any particular draft. I love Ameer but he's not that guy. I see him getting around 1200-1300 if he stays healthy and given the new guys aren't young game changers that demand more carries.
  11. I was going to agree with you until you got to the bold print. How do you know this. Pelini was able to change and entire atmosphere of a program in one season. The attitude of the program at the end of the 07 season was nothing to wish on any great program. He has obviously showed that he can excel when he has the talent to do so. His 09 & 10 defenses were amongst the top in the nation. His 11 & 12 offenses were regarded as some of the most dangerous offensive attacks. We can point out the obvious........09/10's defensive units are far more superior in overall talent than the 11/12 units. Same with the offense. Noooooooo one wants the 09 unit to return and the 10 unit started the rebuild, but I think it's safe to say were were pretty satisfied with what the 11/12 units were able to do all year on that side of the ball. So this shows that Bo can win with the talent on his team (which not every coach can do otherwise Notre Dame would have taken this long to see another national title run). Now you look at the other side of this that horrible 09 offensive unit was put on a short leash the second half of the 2nd so that they would keep from "losing" the games for NU.....that's smart coaching. Then also look at the fact that we lost so much talent to the NFL and graduation after the 2010 season on defense, the 2011 unit started off with 3 preseason AA, but they never all played together healthy. 1 missed the first 3 games another missed the last 6-7 games, yet we still ended to season with a top 20 passing defense and 40th overall defense. This year with exactly no "big name" players on defense we manage to have the 2nd best passing defense in the nation and 54th over.........(obviously stopping the run has been an issue since Suh left). Bo is still able to get his units to execute even without the star studded NFL talent all over the field. And some days those offenses really put up #'s vs a talented defense (Georgia this season) and the defense smothers a talented offense (Michigan St last season). Obviously due to some of the ways we have lost on the big stage, you can't consider Pelini great just yet, as you need your team to be consistent, but I believe he's a lot closer than what some of the critics would like to admit. As far as recruiting talent.....it's obvious regardless of who you are, you can't not use the same tactic in recruiting at Nebraska that you would at Bama/Texas/USC/Florida/etc......do to the weather disadvantage......nor OSU/Michigan/PSU.........as they share our weather disadvantage but not the disadvantage in the talent prospects in the 500 mile radius. As much as we fans love our Huskers and it's rich history......these kids are growing up seeing a local national power in their own right that's just a hop, skip, and a jump away from home. But regardless of those factors.....Bo's first class was scarcely put together and was ranked no hire than #30 by any of the major recruiting sites. Since then the 09 class got as high as #28. The 2010 class was #22. 2011 was #15. 2012 was #25 (heavy top and small class). And 2013 was #17. -Bo has a staff that he trusts now and they trust him and they are an overall upgrade (with the exception of a couple, IMO) in teaching of his philosophy -We are also graduating our players. -Minimal run ins with the law with the exception of a couple, but no more than the next program. -We lead the nation in Academic AAs. Only "violation" the program has face had something to do with getting books to athletes that were required for their class, and it wasn't solely just the football program. I don't know what else you can ask of a coach. This is the reason TO was comfortable riding off into the sunset at this time. Because we have a coach who's doing some good things, the right way. The Nebraska way. That has a way of rewarding itself....... TO knows this first hand. So while we fans cry & whine about a severe loss or two in a season, Bo continues to strengthen the pillars of the program so that it stands strong and bold as we continue to support it every Saturday.
  12. This is what worries me. Ask yourself, which is easier to fix? It took Bo all of about 8 months to fix the first, and about 20 months to completely rid the program of it. It is going to take years to fix the second issue though, as was so glaringly obvious last season. All the more worrisome - the foundation of his talent fix (the 2010/2011 classes), has exited the program. If that turns into a trend, look out. Exactly. IMO, using "hindsight vision", I think it's easier for fans to deal with the problem we faced last season over the 07 season. You can only ask a kid to give their all on every play and hope for the best. If they don't have the talent, they don't have the talent. Yes, it may lead to some terrible showings (like the defense vs UCLA) but you know it won't be because their was a lack of effort. When players give up on game (season), IMO, that's more challenging than dealing with a lack of talent because it effects the locker room, play on the field, and the recruiting. How do you convince a talented prospect to believe in your system when the players you have in your system are showing they don't care for it. On the other end, it's easier for you to convince a talented prospect to believe in your system when he can see someone with less natural ability the he, being successful in it.
  13. I understand what you are saying. I don't want to seem like I was trying to be confrontational. I had that view once before. (I'm a Texas kid also......oldest brother was a Longhorn. Father, sister, and twin brother were Aggies) Since we left the Big XII I started to realize just how "unimportant" Texas is to NU's importance. Yes, they recruit the stated, but so does so many others. I felt like husker fans, including myself, gave them a lot more power and importance than they actually deserved. P.S. I'm glad you didn't include Baylor......I'm an alumni..... When they came to Lincoln, I wore my Green/Gold under my husker shirt. NU's visit to Waco, I switched it up. Win/Win for me. NU got the wins, BU got a heisman... No argument from me here. This is true. And I agree 100000000% with the last sentence. But I also try to look at why the loss is so lopsided. Is it the effort (like losses in 07) or is it the lack of talent/depth/injuries (as in this past season). Both are issues that the coach need to address. Neither is worse than the other. This seniors this class were the wasn't ranked hire than 30 by any of the major recruiting services, asked to fill the void left by the previous staff who brought in 28 JUCO players in the previous 4 recruiting classes....That's a huge void. Especially when you look at 12 came from the 05 season. For our staff to get a class of that caliber to compete against one of the top programs in the nation for 3.5 quarters (Georgia) is overachieving, IMO. You can't fix a depth issue in one recruiting class because it's not created in one recruiting class. One of Bo's biggest flaws was recruiting. I think that had more to do with the lack of identity that his first couple of teams had. It's obvious the last couple of recruiting classes, he has approached it with a different philosophy and looks to be headed in the right direction. I think this will keep from those blowout losses from occurring once that athleticism is matured and molded into the system. Yea, the doom and gloom view isn't healthy as it's just a game, plus our team isn't in the basement. Our guys are one or two playmakers from getting over that hump. The upgrade in athleticism from the last two classes raises the chances of us getting that player(s) on both sides of the ball. These next couple of seasons will be very entertaining and rewarding, IMO.
  14. This pretty much pegs the way I feel. +1 to you. I feel pretty good about the Huskers if we're giving it our all. I can even live with losses. Like Georgia in the bowl. We gave them a run for the money for about three and a half quarters before the talent difference showed through. In my mind that was a satisying game, despite the loss. But the blowout losses when it seem like we've rolled over given up--oh, those just cut me to the bone. The B1G CCG vs Wiscy ranks right up there with the worst losses I've experienced. +100000000. I had the same feeling after the Georgia game. After the CCG, I just expected a 2nd arse whippin' to occur and a monsterous meltdown to plague the offseason. I understood a couple seasons ago that the senior class that just left wasn't filled with a bunch of headliners. No I didn't predict and 40 point losses, but I expected some bruises to possibly occur over the course of losing the talent we did after the 09 and 10 seasons. This season just showed that our staff can get players to believe in them and run through walls for them when its time to get things done. UCLA wasn't the fault of effort, it was the lack of talent/speed on defense, but our guys bounced back (it helped that we had a cupcake following that game). They grinded out a comeback win from Wisconsin. The came OSU's perfect storm. That would have killed the atmosphere of many programs, but our staff gave them a "win out" challenge and the players accepted. Nothing came easy and the won 6 games to get to the stage they planned on ended up at after the season. I truly believe that 6 game streak took a toll of our guys especially on defense where as the depth isn't as strong. Injuries also added to weaken our already weakest link that we were throwing up against a team whom their strong portion of their team is what we were already struggling to stop since the departure of N.Suh. So, I naturally just expected a 2 possession loss against a team that was 4 yards from handing Bama it's second loss and going to the National Championship game. Seeing how they played that team for 3.5 quarters actually left a smile on my face as I walked out the stadium regardless of the score. Even going back home and rewatching the game and understand we were a bad decision or two from still winning the game. True this senior class didn't accomplish their goal but I think they did enough warrant the respect of the fans. Husker Nation should be proud of every bead of sweat given on every down by those kids.
  15. Not sure why they are a cause for NU being relevant or not. I understand people don't like those teams but they don't have much to do with NU's history in the long run other than they were a plague to the conference we once loved. It's one thing to complain about the things that actually show the down fall in since then, but you have to wonder why someone would create a random stat to get their point across. Talking championships, bowl games, heisman winners, outland awards, maxwell awards, all-americans etc.....makes since in comparing how relevant/irrelevant the program has been since 2001. Match ups against Texas/Texas Tech mean next to nothing when it comes to the importance of NU's program. I think what's more important is how we competed against other AQ conferences since then. SEC .......................... 0-5 ACC .......................... 3-2 PAC 10(12 now) ........4-4 Big 10 ........................3-1 (this isn't counting the 2011/2012 where as they are conference foes....though we are tied with Michigan for most conference wins in the B1G since joining) Big East......................2-0 other than vs SEC teams we've matched up pretty well vs those conferences. Obviously those are not BCS bowl match ups so it wasn't the top program each year, but it was a match up at least equal to our program most years. Good points. Plus, not many teams have faired well against the SEC. Exactly....SEC is the obvious strong front of college football currently. We can give many reasons why that may be, but fact is, they are. Some are quick to chant that NU is irrelevant because of the recent struggles. But our "decade drought" is still better than most programs in the nation. We've had 2 losing seasons since the 60s. The remaining years each consisted of at least 9 wins (with the exception of 02 & 05). NU went from 9 years from 72-81 without winning a conference title outright despite Oklahoma being the consistent game to worry about. 22 years before Osborne wins the big one. And on and on and on.......... NU is definitely no where's near where it was in the 90s but how many programs have seen dominance like that for one season, let alone multiple seasons. But NU is definitely no a bottom feeder nationally, thus there is no reason for us to believe that the program is irrelevant. In our defeats against VT/Washington/UCLA......each of those coaches considered the win a good one over a great program and respected the product we had on the field. You can not convince me that NU is look at like the UTEPs, Utah St.s, San Diego St.s, FAUs, etc... of the world. The obvious proof, look at the recruiting rankings and the trend it has been doing each year since Bo arrived in Lincoln.
  16. 17. I actually agree with you for the most part but there's also those instances where as a player and coach will talk about a position change and a player agrees in order to show he is all about the team. But when you have been asked to move 3 times in two seasons, that could create quite some frustration in a player who already spent a year off since high school just working to just have the opportunity to be apart of the program. Braylon Heard would have entered the fall as a Jr who has never spent extensive time with a position coach in the offseason for a position he is going to be playing in the fall. How can you expect a kid to succeed if he is playing musical chairs with his position. This past fall he played RB but spend the off season working with Coach Joseph. He would have been further behind moving to WR because who's position would he be taking.......K.Bell? J.Turner? Q.Eunuwa?...........I don't think so...He would have been battling it out with some redshirts who have spent a year learning the position and plays. Most likely requiring him to redshirt, which he didn't want to do in the first place. On top of that, he was being moved to make room for 3 guys whom haven't taken a snap for the Huskers yet, 2 having even participated in a practice yet.
  18. On this play Green wasn't at fault. If you actually watched the game, you would see the center snap the ball before Green called for it.. That's some groundbreaking sh#t there. I don't think that was his point AllNRed, the point is Green sucked and I'm glad he left. I understand his point, but I just don't see how showing a clip of some other player f***** up a play shows how Green sucks.....No one claims Martinez sucks every time a DE runs by A-Rod.....well some do, but I guess everyone is welcome to their own opinions.....
  19. Great post. I'm on board. Because of my criticism of Lee many think that I don't care much for the kid as a husker. I'm proud of the accomplishment of each of the guys on the team. Those who earned a scholarship and/or walked on. As a former D-1 athlete, I understand the dedication it takes to even play, let alone compete at the level. I also sustained a serious injury that eventually took me away from the sport, so I understand the physical and mental aspect of trying to get yourself back to the position you were before the set back. Lee was a husker. He loved being a husker, thus I loved him as a husker as well as Green, and any other former husker. My opinion is that he just wasn't all that good. Even before injury, based off the fact he did great vs the Sun Belt squads but struggled against everyone else, including the VT game in between to great games vs the Sun Belts. It's really water under the bridge, so I see no need to carry on about it.....I appreciate him because regardless of what he couldn't accomplish, without him, who knows how the season would have went from the OU game on.....Green really looked shook in that first quarter and I think had he been our only option, no telling the damage mentally that could have done on his confidence. Then we never would have made it to the CCG. As far as Green, great kid, unfortunate as far as the timing he came to the program. I believe if he'd of arrived a year earlier, being able to learn the system and get use to the speed of D-1 ball behind Ganz/Witt/Lee without the expectation of him being the savior as a true freshman. I think the coaching staff wouldn't have forced him to be in positions he obviously wasn't ready for. His departure hurt our depth at the QB position regardless of how you look at it. He's not the best QB but he was a better option than both Carnes and Kellogg. But truthfully, he would have never had a chance to excel in the system were molding into under Beck. Carnes is gone, good luck to him. Kellogg, has done all he can to be the best teammate possible. I shouldn't go without praise. He's done nothing on the field up to this point to make me feel like he has the potential to carry the team if our starter went down. And as someone mentioned earlier in this thread, he wasn't all that good coming out of high school. I think I seen one game his Sr. year and I don't remember anything from the game from him that made me think he could be a stand out athlete. But again, he provided some depth and support for the team, and that's worth something.
  20. On this play Green wasn't at fault. If you actually watched the game, you would see the center snap the ball before Green called for it..
  21. He was throwing ducks in the Texas game. He didn't look to confident in the first couple games warming up either.
  22. I wonder if the SEC intentionally gives their better teams an easier sked. The last couple years and this year Alabama has faced Tennessee (crossover) and Vandy, Missouri and Kentucky as the wild card rotating team. This year Bama plays two ranked teams (LSU and A&M) and has bye weeks before each of them. Like last year, they can lose one of the ranked games and still back into the BCS title b/c they have the SEC Meat Grinder schedule that the media plays up. In 2008 Florida played #4 LSU, #8 Georgia, #24 South Carolina and #1 Alabama. In 2009, Alabama played #20 Ole Miss, #22 South Carolina, #9 LSU and #1 Florida. In 2010, Alabama played #10 Arkansas, #7 Florida, #19 South Carolina, #10 LSU, #17 Mississippi State and #2 Auburn. In 2011 LSU played #25 Miss State, #17 Florida, #19 Auburn, #2 Alabama, #2 Arkansas and #12 Georgia. So no, I don't think so What was the rankings of those teams in the final standings? I say this because yes you can play a team rank #2 during the season but maybe they were overrated at the start of the season. In 2010 NU was a top 5-10 team before our match up with Texas I believe. Just saying. It took too much work for me to write out the list with the end-of-season rankings Point is, though, the schedules are made in advance and it's clear that there's no conspiracy by the SEC higher-ups to give their peceived elite teams softer schedules. I can dig it.... Yea, I guess ever conference would have their own timeline to an extent especially being that so many different programs are moving around so much.
  23. Top half of the Brazilian or lower half of the Brazilian......I didn't know they loved Husker Football down there....

  25. why so angry......... you don't have to "give two sh#ts" about my +1 for me to give you a +1........ . I don't do it to make you care. It's just a way of saying I agree with what you posted......calm down buddy. The sun finally comes out in Omaha and people get edgey... Superiority complex?.....uh ok. If that's what you want to call it. Since you are so concerned about where I post then count how many times I've posted in this thread, then I'll point to you where else I posted for multiple pages on a subject. The thing is, if I comment on something and someone responds, I comment back rather than jumping from thread to thread leaving random comments just to keep posters like you from thinking I have a superiority complex issue. Just so happens not everyone will agree with things I say, but I'm not going to run off because multiple people chime in on the conversation. I'll try to show the respect of answering everyone who took the time to comment. I figured that's what a football forum is for. As far as defending Green......since you are so focus just on what I said about him. Notice all I stated is that he was better than he was being credited for. The only defense of him (not his play on the field) came when someone made a comment about his character. I know the young man and his family personally and I felt it was uncall for. But after I addressed it, I left it alone and continued with the conversation. I'd of done the same for any other player whom I have a similar relationship.
