  1. Yeah, I really need summer term to start, I'm making way too many of these vids. I think you'll appreciate the song though. LP Highlights
  2. Here it is. Let me know what you think. I'll probably start working on a LP one sometime this week and then on each title year. If you have any suggestions for music/other videos I'd be happy to hear them.
  3. Just made it. Check it out and tell me what you think. I'm probably going to make an Ahman Green one and one for all of the title years in the near future. Tommie Frazier Highlights
  4. In one of the Trevor Robinson articles Robinson had been told NU would take 5 with this class. So that one more would be a cherry on top!! I think Aaron Shulte (greyshirt from last year) is the 5th. Not sure though, we're still in on some nice OL. Wouldn't mind us offering Givens' teammate Jimmy Miller as a center. This is shaping up to be a very very nice OL class, best in the nation in all likelihood.
  5. Sept. 1: Nevada W 45-17 Sept. 8: @ Wake Forest W 31-14 Sept. 15: USC W 24-21 Sept. 22: Ball State W 63-6 Sept. 29: Iowa State W 28-10 Oct. 6: @ Missouri L 14-24 Oct. 13: Oklahoma State W 49-24 Oct. 20: Texas A&M W 27-14 Oct. 27: @ Texas L 21-30 Nov. 3: @ Kansas W 34-28 Nov. 10: Kansas State W 42-3 Nov. 23: @ Colorado W 31-17 Big XII Championship: vs. Texas W 28-24 Fiesta Bowl: vs. Penn State W 31-21 12-2, Big XII Champions. Yes, I have big expectations, but we have a very good team this year and we're in year 4. It's a key year for Callahan, as 08 in all likelihood will be a rebuilding year.
  6. DTsker posted a sneak peek for the upcoming 4th installment for the Project Husker videos. Didn't know what to think of the song at first, but it's growing on me. Definitely different. Anyways, it's the conference games part of the video. He said that he'll try to get it all finalized by the spring game.
  7. I like it, good job dude. Your videos are great, the 2005 one is one of my favorite Husker vids out there.
  8. I had went through probably 10 or 11 seasons in my last dynasty and then a freeze March Madness 2006 caused my memory card to get erased. Needless to say I was pissed. The first season I had went 13-1 and won the Big XII. After that I went undefeated for a couple years, then I decided to bump up the difficulty from All American to Heisman. I went 11-3 in the first year, still winning the Big XII though. I then started an unbelievable streak (I think it was up to 50 some odd games) until Oklahoma finally knocked me off. I had gotten the streak back up near 50 when I lost the save. The first few years I was a dominant running team, mostly because I loved to run with Marlon Lucky and because Harrison Beck had just transferred in real life so I didn't feel like giving him any glory. Lucky ended his career with 2 straight 3000 yard seasons. I then recruited a scrambling QB and my offense totally switched to a passing based O. I found it easy to recruit blue chip RBs still during the season, but I didn't have much luck in the off-season recruiting. Kenny Demps (my scrambling QB) ended up with a 5000 yard season his senior year (on Heisman, I had it mastered by then, even started putting up 100 on crappy teams such as Kansas State). For some reason, every year it seemed like the Colorado vs. Nebraska game would always be 1 vs. 2 at the end of the season, and every year I beat the living crap out of them. I also made sure I scheduled Florida a lot because of my particular distaste for them. Recruiting wise, the only real trouble I had was recruiting DTs. I don't think I ever pulled in a 5 star DT, and my classes were usually packed with 12-15 5 stars. Like you said, I also had trouble pulling in corners for some reason. Games were becoming ridiculously easy though, and when I imported my classes to Madden all I ever did was pick up Nebraska players because I knew they'd be rated the best. I was also upset that NCAA didn't fix the 40 problems (when a 4.22 is only 96 speed, and there are 50 high school kids running 4.16s a year, that's just ridiculous) but didn't include any freaks of nature this year. I'm talking about those occasional 6'7 3 star cornerbacks that you'd spend all of your recruiting points on just to cause mis-matches. I ended up creating a 6'7 corner though. Nobody really ever passed on that side unfortunately. Then, get this, I created another dynasty about 2 months ago after my memory card crashed. I was a year and a half in and, because I'm stupid (and didn't know it was the problem yet) I tried to play that dynasty in March Madness. It froze, and I lost everything on the memory card once again. So now I've just started another dynasty, if for nothing else just to get me to July when 08 comes out.
  9. How many other 6'4 210 pound JRs do we have from California? 88 is Purify.
  10. I made one of these for the 05 class and decided to do it again today while waiting on everyone to sign. Check it out and feel free to use. 2007 Recruiting Wallpaper
  11. I was in the middle of making Lucky's highlight video when this one was put out. Didn't have enough clips to fill the song I had it going to, so I just threw this video to the song. "Hollywood Divorce" by Outkast. Contains some profanity.
  12. A nice Marlon Lucky highlight video that a guy from Huskers Illustrated put together.
  13. My favorite might've been against Iowa State when he busted up the middle for about 15 yards, then got turned around and backpedalled for an additional 8-10.
  14. Hard to believe that game, better than 10 years ago, was the last time we've been shut out. And didn't we beat Arizona State 77-28 the year prior?
  15. Haven't heard anything recently. I hope that's good news. We definitely need him this year. I love the idea of having Grixby at nickel. I think, with his experience, he'd really do big things against #3 receivers.
  16. So I threw a season highlight video together to the song "Welcome to the Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance (heard it on the Chris Leak hype tape before the BCS title game and figured it would be good for a highlight vid). The quality is crappy as always on YouTube, but I like it. Enjoy and tell me what you think. 2006 Season Highlight video
  17. Eh, most all of the runs in there were at least like 8 yards, and he fought off the first man in every one of the short ones.
  18. True. The song wasn't long enough but I already had everything synced up to it and then ended up having about a minute and a half of extra highlights, so I needed something to throw in there.
  19. My 2nd player highlight vid project. I like this one a lot better than the Maurice Purify one I made a couple weeks back. No profanity in this one. The songs are "Sirius" by the Alan Parson's Project (the Tunnel Walk, of course) and "Attack" by 30 Seconds to Mars. Enjoy and leave feedback.
  20. Congdon = 24/30 in his 2 years here. 86/88 on his XPs, with one screw-up a year (one was his first ever D-1A kick). Solely responsible for 158 points the last two seasons. Far from "sucks" or "waste of a scholarship." I would've liked to see what he could do from further than 41, but to my knowledge that's the farthest he has ever attempted. However, when we got inside the red zone, he was pretty much automatic. Perhaps people are too quck to forget Sandro DeAngelis.
