  1. Jared Crick came from Cozad, Nebraska. Far from the biggest class in the state, and just one among many small high school players to be successful at Nebraska. Sometimes, great things come from small towns, and sometimes it's worth it to go off the beaten path to find a diamond in the rough. Is that the case here? Who knows, it's far too early to tell. However, I don't think you can simply dismiss his potential based upon the level of competition he plays or the high school he attends.
  2. C-1, but the point stands.
  3. Thought we had a good chance, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. On to the next one, and good luck to Jalen at USC.
  4. I'd like to believe we could beat those schools in his top 5 out, but the Arkansas tie and distance factor worry me.
  5. At this point in Pelini's career, the fact that you have an offer from him is enough to turn heads. Eh, we offer a looooooot of guys.
  6. If our secondary plays up to its potential this year, I can't imagine us not getting a lot of interest from recruits in the same way we did on the D-line after Suh's year this season.
  7. Simply amazing. It blows my mind that he hits harder than Ray Lewis. He simply destroyed that test dummy, wow.
  8. Haha, got better as the video went on. Well done.
  9. They did move the kickoff marker back like 10 yards, didn't they?
  10. Another solid commit for the O-Line, I'm liking where this class is headed.
  11. 12 on a scale of 1-10...not bad.
  12. Wow, this would be a real steal if we could pull it off.
  13. If it's not Zac Lee, I'm really hoping it's Kody Spano. It'd be nice to see what he can do if he can go a year without getting injured, and if he and Lee can be a competent one-two then maybe we can redshirt Green.
  14. Niles is now in the lead with 14.8%, Julio Jones in second with 14.2%
  15. Voted. With only ~150 votes in the poll so far, it shouldn't be long before Niles is well in the lead.
  16. I'm not sure who the starter will end up being or even who is the better player at this point. I don't feel like Green was given a really fair shot at starting as there were several times last year where he was pulled before he even had a chance to get in the rhythm of the game, which makes it hard. He wasn't overly impressive when he was in, but then again neither was Lee. I just hope someone in the QB competition steps up and takes charge. We need some stability at a position as critical as QB.
  17. He coded a lot of it, but we use wordpress as well. I got all the pics from the 09 galleries on Huskers.com I don't remember which game that was from though My mistake. I wasn't sure if Bo was still planning to use him some at TE or not. I also regret the omissions on Sirles and Qvale, I knew I'd make a couple errors since it's my first time writing something of this scope about the Huskers. Thanks for the feedback guys, and thanks mods for understanding that I just wanted to share it and wasn't just trying to spam my site.
  18. Thanks. I appreciate it. The site is mostly a glorified blog, I just thought you guys would appreciate the article. I'm not here trying to get members, just feedback.
  19. Shamelessly plug my site? It's a season preview, I don't see the problem.
  20. Here it is! I hope you guys like it, I put a lot of time and effort into it. I'm open to feedback though, both good and bad. GBR!
  21. Schwartz is a good defensive minded coach, as well. I wouldn't mind seeing Suh go to Detroit at all.
  22. As for speed vs. power backs and speed vs. possession receivers, I think it's important to have both. Oftentimes they complement each other well and help you diversify your options on offense, keeping the D off balance.
  23. I don't even know who this thread is about, that sig pic is too amazing.
