Oh yeah, for sure! It gets much better at the high school level. The guys I coach with now are fantastic. Great guys and great personalities. Even though they have no experience at all they are great, I can teach people to coach, but I can't change some idiots mind about how much of a badass coach he should be.

The debate about football at a young age isn't even so much about the kids getting hurt from contact it is really more about the horrible horrible horrible coaching. I can share horror stories! I had one a-hole assistant that was forced on my staff...this Dbag one time got mad at a kid in a drill for not "going hard' so his way of fixing it...he took the two biggest/best kids that were at his station...and he had those kids do a two on one drill on the smaller kid...to "teach him a lesson". One of my asst coaches ran over to me and said "Dude, you have to come here and stop this" This was a grown man...with a big law practice...wormed his way on the staff because his son was on the team and the school board basically said he could coach.

Yeah, those "rules" about contact during practice are enforced as often as the "no swearing" rules during the game. Especially at the younger levels where there is basically no one monitoring anything.

I loved it and we are lucky that there is a book/movie that they can associate the team with in that way. SE probably didn't like it because the movie scared him.

No joke...I have gone from Omaha to Lincoln just for the pregame fun and then headed back to Omaha to watch the game at home with friends. That is how electric it is (for me) in Lincoln on game day.

Like most services the first year (or two) will be cheap...then it won't be. So I would say go for it and in 12 months get ready to call and do some complaining.

My man! We set up our spot for that game and about an hour in we left and hit the bars because it was so hot. Even the bars were so freaking hot, the AC could not keep up with the heat and the doors opening and closing. I had major swamp-ass that day.

I think that CSU will beat CU, I think CU will have a bad year...6 wins maybe 7. I like LSU to win by about 20...I like Illinois in a 24-14 type of game.

I love starting this! With it being a night game I don't see myself heading to Lincoln even though I know it would be a freaking blast. I think this game will be one that I watch at home with a few friends. What about you guys?
