  1. What's that? Not being biased at all based on gender? Morian said it should not matter at all and I am trying to copy that. So Hillary and trump are both "it". Try it, try getting rid of labels. I think you will feel free. Form now on, please call me, it. I don't want to see color, or height, or gender, or intelligence, I just want to see people. Don't you think that's the right way? I just want everybody to be looked at the same Exactly the same Don't you think that's correct? No more difference!!! I didn't say gender doesn't matter at all. I said it doesn't matter for the office of president. You've been going on and on (and on) with this Hillary Clinton is a man crap, since before I ever said anything about gender. It's weird as hell and goes beyond not liking her. You seem to be implying she's a man because she's average-looking and not a beauty queen, and in that case you're doing the same thing to all women. Now you're going to reply that you wouldn't ever dare say anything mean to a woman because you love and respect them all.On the 2nd amendment topic, no, Clinton does not want to repeal it. Nor does/did Obama, nor do the vast majority of Democrats/Independents. This is crazy uber-conservative propaganda. So now you are upset that I love and respect people equally? I think the number of the amendment is supposed to be spelled out. I just think that we are all beauty queens.

  3. This is a discussion that comes up a lot during some of my lectures. How educated should one have to be to vote. I get very interesting answers. When I asked if you were a teacher the other day you said no - what's the deal TeacherCD? I don't like labels

  5. Hey, how is that "new" show by the way?
  6. I really can't see anyone taking away guns and I don't even care about guns at all but I just can't see that happening.

  8. She? She. I edited it...sorry, I don't see or label gender. It doesn't matter when running for president
  9. She? Sorry, read that wrong. Good post
  10. It surprises me too… But even looking over the course of history when you had the whig party, the constitutional party, the free-soilers, the American party which I think was the know nothing party, they really don't stick around very long, had it not been for the Civil War I'm not even sure if the Republican Party would've actually made it. I think there was an American Democrat party to for a while and maybe the American nativists? But I'm not sure on those… But yeah it does surprise me that there hasn't been another party that has stuck around. We're looking at 170 years now with pretty much two parties
  11. Only if she hunted him down and shot him.
  12. Which one would you rather sit down and have a drink with? Seems like even that would be a touch choice. They both seem horrible and unlikable.
  13. Ha! Sadly I am sure he is at another district making 200K a year.
  14. So, people are upset about the election for the most important position in the country and your conclusion is that they get upset at the drop of the hat over anything? That isn't a logical conclusion. There are things worthy of getting involved in and upset about. The direction our country is headed and who its leader might be are valid things to be invested in. You've said a bunch of people in a thread were going to leave the country if Trump gets elected and when asked who, you said you would move out of the country. It is logical to me!
  15. Most JC kids go that route because of grades. Most kids that are going to play but can't get D1 and end up at small schools do so because they love playing and are happy to go play at Hastings or UNK and stuff like that. Most kids with the grades that still want to play don't do the JC route. It is a little different with basketball
  16. Man...some of you get embarrassed really easily. And upset really easily. For those of you that are embarrassed and upset all day long about everything...are you just totally worn out by the end of the day? I bet when Bo would freak out on the sidelines some of you would just pass out from the embarrassment and shame.
  17. The people who want to believe Hillary committed a crime already do, I'm guessing Trump's attempts at painting her as a criminal only serve to hurt him. I don't, not even a little bit. Doubt is powerful. I also think that 3 terms with the same party is very tough historically speaking. The weird thing with trump is that things that should hurt him, don't. I have never seen anything like it. I think that you are correct in what you said but the guy just seems to get stronger when he attacks people.
  18. The debates will be where things change...he will make her look like a criminal and get her off her "notes"...that can be a disaster for some people. With that said I still think she wins wth ease...when I say she I am referring to Clinton. Even though we still have no proof if she is a women and no proof if trump is a man .
  19. I think that is what I meant to say...Nebraska (if it plays how they can vs the 10 built in win teams) will win those 10.
  20. Indy seems like a very hard state to pull kids from. Good luck to Miles
  21. Well, they still have to play the game. On paper and according to betting lines and game lines they are at 9.5. I totally get what you are saying but NU has better talent than all but one (maybe two) teams that they will face this year. I think when I say "Built in" you mean "gimmie" I think we are kind of on the same page we just sort of use different phrases.
  22. being favored by 3 or less is way closer to a "coin flip" then "built in win" - I would say 11 points or more is "built in" and 7 points or more as "pretty likely". Could or should we win 10 - yes, but not "built in". We haven't had double digit built in wins since the 90's. I think it's more that we have not had good coaching something 90s. Just look at last year's games… How many of those games looking back at it now should Nebraska have lost? The winds were built in last year and they are built in this year… It just matters if we put the final nail into the building so to speak
  23. I feel like we are going to get to the point where we are applauding Riley and his 7 or 8 wins a year.
  24. That class is kind of like a "What could have been" class
  25. Hopefully the firemen will somehow get more money out of this.
