Personally I don't care when we play Colorado. They are not a rival, they are only in their minds. Dedicating a certain weekend for them is giving creedence to their claim. They are poor fans and a very dirty program. We need them like a hole in the head. They need us to give their season any meaning at all. Who cares when we play them.

It is all about money as chad says. No question about it. Personally I would prefer not to see La Tech on National TV. It would not help in recruiting and all we would hear is about the cream puff schedule if we kicked the crap out of them. Pay per view helps Nebraska. I know I will be ordering if it is pay per view. We are not privy to all the reasons behind the AD's decesion. He seems to be making pretty good moves for all the other sports, so I will give him the bennefit of the doubt. I spent 26 years in the Marine Corps and understand your feelings. Missed many a game, but you are one of the many reasons the game will be played. Again thank you.

Butch and Nutts just does not sound right together. I believe we have one of the best coaches in the country. I like his fire and love is ability to be politically incorrect!!!! Reminds me of Mr Devany. I think BC is here to stay no matter what trolls come out to raise the dead. We really got better than we could have hoped for and in the next few years all will feel the same.

I really do not think we ever saw just how good Cory was. I truly believe he is one of the best backs to ever play at Nebraska. I hope he takes every advantage of this situation. I hate the Ravens but I will watch every game I can see just to see him play. Congrats Cory make your mom and all of us proud.

Some kids take tough love to get through to them. This may just be that. If his comments made Leon come back great, but will he stay is the question. I have been on the Leon bandwagon since I first saw his recruiting videos. But he needs to man up and do what he committed to do. Some times it takes a smack in the mouth to understand what is gong on. Having his mommy make comments indicates to me what the coach says is true. We shall see. I am sick of all this PC BS. These kids come here to play football, not to be coddled around. Do what you said you would do. If it isn't good enough be man enough to admit it and try harder or move on. Enough theatrics for me.

I made the statement awhile back that I don follow pro ball but would follow whom ever Cory ended up with. I literally hate Balitmore (Ray Lewis). But I will watch their games hoping to see Cory become one of the best backs in football. I agree, we never saw what Cory could have been at Nebraska. I am hoping it happens at Baltimore.

I must admit I was on the Leon bandwagon. I saw things in him I thought we needed in this offense. But quitters never win and winners never quit. Don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya. Leon who?

The coment on the news last nite was that SC may lose some of the games he played in. NCAA can take away wins for supposed infractions. It will have no affect on their previous NC seasons but will affect last year if it gets to that.

I heard on the news last nite that Reggie Bush is under investigation for receiving gifts. IE the house his parents lived in while he played at SC. SC could end up losing a bunch of games if this proves true. The family moved out of the house over the weekend after the investigation was leaked. I do not have any links as I heard it on TV. Anyone else heard anything about it?

Depends on the starting time for the game. Every thing is doable but the staying late. You do not want to be in that area after dark. I am hoping that the game is an afternoon game and not a nite game. If it is a nite game my tickets will be for sale. Not worth the chance down there. I would think SC would realize just how many out of towners are coming and want a day game. ABC though may decide it is the premier game of the day if both are undefeated when we play. If so, most likely will end up being a late game.

I think he is handling this better than I expected him to. Knows he made the mistake and is taking the blame for it. Doing alot better about it than a couple of QB's that left on their on volition. Got to say he is growing up some.

I think you are all correct, but the primary ones for weekly games are as mentioned, at least that is the way I understand it. I certainly could be wrong. ESPN/ABC can show our games and will when they feel they warrant it. I just do not agree with the anti Midwest thought. They promote Oklahoma and Texas quite well. But of course they are winning. We get back to the old Nebraska we will see our games on ESPN I think. I agree with Foppa that sometimes they do bang on us a little hard, but as long as they spell your name right it's just added exposure.

Foppa, When you win you are on TV. Fox has a contract with the Big 12. Big 10 has a contract with ABC. Reason being, more people watch Big ten football than they do Big 12. Money. Population base. If Nebraska had been winning like in the past we would be seeing more games on ESPN. I look for that to start happening in the next couple of years. I am a college football fan. I enjoy all the games, not just Nebraska games. I enjoy seeing who the top teams are and trying to figure out how we compare to them. Been a fan for over 50 years young man. Have not had the luck to live in Nebraska even though I pay for season tickets every year. My cousin uses them. Hopefully I will be back there in the next couple of years to start using them. I support the team and the law school financially every single year and have for the past 30. Do not question my devotion to this program, as you have no clue. I agree. SC has lost a lot of starters that were, very very very good. We have lost talent also but we have adequate replacements. Zac is the key if the Oline can protect him. Most SC fans think they are just going to reload. I read Booty is the starter even though he is coming off of back surgery. He does not have the experience that Zac carries and he has not faced anything like Moore and Carriker. I look for the defense to dominate this game for us. And the O doing enough to win. I have paid for my tickets and can hardly wait!!!!!!!!!

You can go with whoever you please fopa. I could care less. As I said he is entitled to his opinion as you are, and god forbid mine. If I remember correctly there was coment made by the Big 12 officiatiing office, stating errors are made on both sides of the ball. Some are more obvious than others. I have no problem with the call. And I would not have had if it went the other way. It happens. ESPN brings us a lot of college football, maybe not enough Nebraska football for you but they are the only network that truly dedicates themselves to college football during the season. I do not always agree with them but I do watch it normally every weekend during the season. If you had your way we would be down to the fox crap games and what ever could be seen in your own time zone. I can put up with a little negativety to see other games. There are other teams besides Nebraska and they have fans that feel the same way. Most avid fans think everyone is against them.

It was a great catch no question. But in honesty it was illegal and should have been ruled incomplete. So what they are saying is correct. We got a break no question. But I am sure they say things that other fans feel are against their team. We seem just a little to touchy about the media at times. But I understand your feelings. You are welcome to them. I guess I am just a little bit easier on them than most.
