    CU Sucks

    Wasn't that a great game
  3. Looks like we will be OK incase Lee goes down
  4. Just offense, defense had better shoulder the load, at least early. Not worried about running backs, just QB, very anxious to see Lee perform. Should have a better idea on the offense by the end of saturday
  5. http://my.journalstar.com/post/Husker_Extr.../missing_q.html If the O line is as good as we think it will be, put Suh in and plow straight ahead
  6. Holt and Kinnie, just cannot get on the Paul bandwagon until I see him in action
  7. Really, if you think about it, whoever is #2 plays, plain and simple
  8. The only one the I would question is #8, Niles needs to be the man at end, but if you look at his dropped balls last year, I wonder. Bring on the chili, with a side of nachos
  9. Rex is truly a team player. I have watch that young man play football and basketball, since he was in the 7th grade. He will play his heart out to win, but he will do it with class. No cheap shots and no show boating when he gets into the end zone. He has been there before, but I imagine he will be a little excited when he does it in front of 80K cheering fans. You guys are in for a real treat getting to watch him mature as a college player. Rex was the first freshman to play for Plano Senior, since like 1964 and unfortunately his first few games of sharing FB duties he looked like a freshman, but he learned quick. He helped the team make it deep into he playoffs, where the got beat by the eventual state champs and quarterback Chase Daniels. Again, I hear the comment about Rex plays with heart, and one of the first things I noticed on his films was no showboating. Great to see, can hardly wait for the first game
  10. It means we will lose to Texas Tech this season. Don't ask for my source..I'm sworn to secrecy! But...Really..Is the B-12N our only goal? We might still be a Favourite to some, but I was really looking forward to the bigger/faster baller Q was reported to have become over the Summer...Maybe speed up our return to a more smashmouth brand of Offense and help keep Helu healthy for a full season. Would we have still beaten Miami in that one '94? Orange Bowl without Cory Schlesinger scoring late on the two Fullback traps? We have quite a few nifty RBs chomping at the bit..but I doubt any near the bruiser Q was..and maybe one less thing the other Defensive Coordinators will have to plan for. We probably punt more on fourth and 2...or should. We will be just fine on offense, as long as Lee preforms. Defense will be the key to getting back to the Big 12 Championship Game I look for big things out of the blackshirts this year.
  11. this is going to be fun to watch
  12. I wonder if he will be like Josh Freeman, a sitting duck in the pocket
  13. makes me think of an old time husker, Tony Davis, after first contact he keeps his balance and usually needs 2 0r 3 other hits to knock him down. Plus he is a lot faster. also a good set of hands, hope he gets a chance returning kickoffs. I am a believer
  14. If Green is as good as advertised, and can make 2nd QB, no redshirt, Tyler Gabbert is coming next year, I look for Bo to keep the QB pipeline going. The one thing that bothers me is that Lee has no game minutes, lets see what happens the first game. Everybody is putting a lot of faith in him, when he was behind the Yale QB last year, I mean Witt. And he really looked bad, when he got in the game.
