I went and upped my vaseline supply 'cuz my @ss hurts so F(#CKIN bad!!!! Our offense was bad, but come the F#*# on! This was the Big 12 ref game I've been waiting for!

This one was tough. It was like going down to the Brass Rail, you get a number from the finest thing in the place and the bouncer busts your @ss for drinking too much, being to young, etc. etc. (except it happens over and over again). The Huskers will live another day. Granted we need the CU win, but we've still got our chance at the Big 12 champ game. After that, well who the hell knows. I don't like our chances against OK lite and or OK, but then again I thought we'd smoke A&M. The refs sucked (still working on the Vaseline applications), but our O' sucked as bad. I'd love to bitch more and call it a season, but this is playing out like a movie and the 'sKers can still go to and win a BCS championship! BigRedNV - As in ENVY the Huskers!

Nobody refers to Nebraska fans as classy anymore except Nebraska fans so what is your point? I've seen it myself several times this year already. They weren't so classy against Texas...get behind early in this game and the fans' true colors will keep coming out. Nebraska's "classy fan" farse was built in the days when you were blowing teams out by 60. A lot easier to act classy when you still feel like you're better than any other team...but when you're just another team, I don't see a difference between Nebraska fans and anybody else. What are you referring to about the Texas game? I was at that game, and every single Texas fan I talked to - literally a dozen, maybe two - said they were treated better in Lincoln than anywhere else. Of course you don't - you're a rival. Commentators on several of our games have referred to us as still being some of the best fans in America. Stewart Mandel referred to us as the classiest fans, or some such thing, in one of his columns earlier this year. You'll pardon me if I don't get too concerned about your opinion. Missouri has no love for Nebraska, and you guys have frequently disparaged the "classy fans" thing around here. Par for the course. Agree completely. I flew back for the TX game and was talking to a lot of TX fans before and after the game and had a great time. Hell, we were in the gates of the Champions club and saw Mack coming out of the ESPN bus and yelled that they had our number. He threw his hands up jokingly like "nah, that's not the case" and a bunch of people were yelling great game coach. I must have missed something there.

Vegas knows their Chit! I just got home from the NV vs Cal game and bet what I thought was an easy pick with Cal by 2.5 pts. Never saw it coming so now I'm a little more worried about the Nebraska game tomorrow. I bet Neb to win by 39 1/2 in the 1st game and lost by 1/2 point and lost the Idaho game by 7 pts (28 pt spread. I'm going with roulette in this one, 'cuz the Huskers are due to cover and are giving up 3 pts on my ticket (talked to family back in Nebraska today and heard the bookies are at 7.5 pts). I'm with ya though, and dont understand how a PAC 10 team who lost 'em all in '08 and won only 5 in '09 is only a 3 pt dog to the top 10 Huskers who have been rolling. My take is lots 'O Locker love on the west coast!

So I'm sitting here in my Husker shrine of old Husker SI covers and newspapers covered with T Frazier while watching the game last week. For the first time in many, many years I see the 'sKers actually going the distance. Help me out 'cuz I like what I'm seeing and think that travel to AZ in January might happen.

The '09 season has ended in a spectacular fashion, the Huskers got to 10 wins and appear to be on the way up with regards to the national status of the team. Tip one up for the record setting shut-out victory, the '09 season as well as the optimistic future that 2010 holds for our Huskers!!!!

WTF...we were one of the "BIG 2" in the Big 8 so why the hell would we want to go to the Big 10? Nuff said!

Are we really gonna drop to standards such as Misery and say that "X" amount of time in the game cost us the win? People...the defense and special teams gave us every chance to win the game, but the offense came up short. It is what is is, deal with it and move on.

I'm guessing that most of you are thinking the same thing that I am. What a waste of a perfectly good and dominating F'n Defense...... Wasn't surprised by the end as I thought that we would get beat by 3 or 4 TD's. The defense and special teams stepped up, yet the offense couldn't do $hit. Nine win season, Big 12 game, yet it still sux!!!

Ok...Wats needs to go. I'm an Ops manager and have been in several companies with success or failure coming back to me. I'd be fired this year if the performance of "my" employees would have matched what "Wats" has done. I've coached pop warner and that by no means makes me a college coach, but performance in your job is something that is familiar to me. Fail....

So at the end the of game, I was speaking in tongues that my 4, 2, and 1 year old shouldn't be hearing but then it came to me. The Huskers could have won the game, went to a BCS and maybe won, but what does it all mean. Let me say this, our defense is good. Really F'n good. Our offense - non-existent. Big 12 stolen from us, offense sucking, but Nebraska is right back in the mix. What's left to say is congrats to the Husker seniors and Thanks for getting us back on track! Go Big Muther F'n Red and roll in the bowl game!
